Great sites with great room and some along the River. The one thing I would say is the camp host ran their generator too much.

Nice park. Friendly camp hosts. Outhouse was pretty clean. Trees reduced our solar exposure but its a forest for goodness sake. Good location to access Yosemite and many hiking trails. Paved sites!

Nice clean campground. Only complaint is people playing amplified music is rude and also people with gas generators that run creating a drone sound. Not a speck of wood to burn. Forest is absolutely devoid of fuel so no option for campfire unless you bring your own wood.Bathroom was clean.

The camp host runs their generator all day and late into the night. Its a cheap noisy generator. Ruins the whole experience of being in the woods.

we had a fantastic time at Dimond O! The grounds were incredibly well kept and maintained by a friendly and knowledgable host; she even had firewood just incase you run out. Just outside of Yosemite park, it was only about a 15min drive in. There were plenty of smaller hikes and day use areas to use without having to go into the park itself.The bathrooms were close and the cleanest I have ever experienced in a park. Water was available throughout the campgrounds; bear lockers were available and large enough to fit our 28L cooler and bin of dry goods. Our site was just across from the host's but still gave us plenty of privacy and shade throughout our stay.Any time we come back to Yosemite, we are looking to book here first!

A lovely campground with a creek, nice vegetation and well spaced sites. Very close to Yosemite National Park.

All good, very clean restrooms even without water. Of course it would be super cool to have showers there but the fact these are not available there was know since the beginning.

I think you should put more emphasis in the description on the roads. This is a very rough road to drive on. The campground itself was outstanding. Nice sites, toilets were well kept!

The camp ground is well maintained and situated in a very nice location. The host was very helpful, friendly, and made us feel welcome. Wonderful experience.

What a wonderful time spent off the grid, away from TV, phones or internet. The camp hosts were a splendid couple and very charming. Nice to have peace and quiet except for the Generator they had to run for star link for their Job.

Campground is somewhat rustic. Minimal services available. Toilets are vault toilets. Basically think outhouse, and they smell how you would expect an outhouse to smell. No camp store or anything like that. Most of the campground did not have water available due to a plumbing leak. They did post this on the website and I was aware before making the reservation, but it was more inconvenient than I had anticipated. Very beautiful area, my site had a lot of shade and big trees. Beautiful, but rustic.

The campground was clean and the camp hosts were very courteous and helpful. However, the facilities were minimal: no sink in any of the bathrooms, just a pit toilet. No shower, and no water in half the camps because there was apparently a water leak ( not repaired yet). I could not find any walking trails from the camp except a short path to the river ( which had very little access due to debris all around) and no wifi anywhere on the campground. Like I said, everything was minimal.

A lovely, peaceful campground. Friendly and helpful host. Pitch for our RV was roomy and level, with a good picnic table and fire pit. Facilities were very clean and well maintained.

We actually didn't make it to the campsite - it was in an area that had an active wildfire warning zone and also was within a heavily smokey area (per CalFire). We opted to go elsewhere, sadly. Since the campground wasn't closed, we were not able to get a refund.

This place is wonderful! It exceeded our expectations on so many levels. Carrie, the person who runs it, was very helpful and attentive. We appreciated her guidance and dedication to the campground - she truly loves being there and it shows. The sites are wooded and private - and the toilets were well taken care of and clean. We will be back!

Well kept campground, serene and a bit off the beaten path yet close enough to explore Yosemite for a couple days. The campers were all quiet and polite. The campground host was sweet and introduced herself and explained everything well. Only negatives were though the bathrooms were clean and sanitizer provided outside the smell when walking the odor wafted a bit near the lower two so dont camp upwind of them and I will say the host did seem to run the generator all morning and evening and though it was within the hours posted it seemed excessive and a bit annoying to hear in the am and pm which took away from the overall peaceful feel a bit but other then that a great experience!

Nice and close to Yosemite, great walk down to the river, and we enjoyed hearing herds of cattle graze across the river at night.
@RaphaelM16CCED · Camped on Jul 27, 2025 at Campsite #30
Nice campground, but the host let his generator run the whole evening until 10 pm and started early in the morning again, what disturbed the beautiful spot (extremly long generator hours 6 am - 10 pm in comparison to all the others campgrounds we stayed on).

This was a nicely kept small campground. The host was very welcoming and helpful. She keeps a good eye on the place which makes it a nice experience. The only issues were that the sites said river front but its a trek to the river from most sites. I really wish it had sinks in the bathrooms and a shower, then it would be amazing! It is close to some beautiful spots.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
