We actually didn't make it to the campsite - it was in an area that had an active wildfire warning zone and also was within a heavily smokey area (per CalFire). We opted to go elsewhere, sadly. Since the campground wasn't closed, we were not able to get a refund.

This place is wonderful! It exceeded our expectations on so many levels. Carrie, the person who runs it, was very helpful and attentive. We appreciated her guidance and dedication to the campground - she truly loves being there and it shows. The sites are wooded and private - and the toilets were well taken care of and clean. We will be back!

Well kept campground, serene and a bit off the beaten path yet close enough to explore Yosemite for a couple days. The campers were all quiet and polite. The campground host was sweet and introduced herself and explained everything well. Only negatives were though the bathrooms were clean and sanitizer provided outside the smell when walking the odor wafted a bit near the lower two so dont camp upwind of them and I will say the host did seem to run the generator all morning and evening and though it was within the hours posted it seemed excessive and a bit annoying to hear in the am and pm which took away from the overall peaceful feel a bit but other then that a great experience!

Nice and close to Yosemite, great walk down to the river, and we enjoyed hearing herds of cattle graze across the river at night.

Nice campground, but the host let his generator run the whole evening until 10 pm and started early in the morning again, what disturbed the beautiful spot (extremly long generator hours 6 am - 10 pm in comparison to all the others campgrounds we stayed on).

This was a nicely kept small campground. The host was very welcoming and helpful. She keeps a good eye on the place which makes it a nice experience. The only issues were that the sites said river front but its a trek to the river from most sites. I really wish it had sinks in the bathrooms and a shower, then it would be amazing! It is close to some beautiful spots.

Very clean pit bathrooms, quiet campground with good separation between sites, friendly camp host and firewood available for purchase on site. Evergreen Lodge is nearby with shower facilities if needed. Good location the Hetch Hetchy, swimming holes at Carlon Falls, and a 3 lane entrance to Yosemite at Big Oak Flat. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean. Nicely spaced campsites. Private, very close to Yosemite. 1 mile to Big Oak Flat gate once you get out to Hwy 120. Nice staff. Nice place.

Beautiful spacious sites and access to a great little river. 4 1/2 mile access from hwy 120 is quite rough and narrow in places.

Good campsite, pit toilets well maintained, friendly manager, wide spacing between campsites, lovely sound of the river nearby. Only drawback was the broken water system. There was only one working spigot at the far end of the campground. It had oddly foaming water, so I didn't use it.
@JacobS9807253 · Camped on May 28, 2025 at Campsite #6
The campground managers are kind and attentive. The site itself is very secluded and cozy, and I recommend it to anyone.
@DaleS8289121 · Camped on May 18, 2025 at Campsite #8
The campground was very quiet on the two weeknights I stayed there. It is very close to both Hetch Hetchy and Ackerson Meadow.

Very clean, neat, lovely campground, thanks to Carrie, who is a dedicated host. Just vault toilets, but they are the cleanest vault toilets youll ever use!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
