A very helpful ranger met me at the entrance and described how to get to my reserved site. The site was easy to access and clean. The fire pit was ready to use. The picnic table was in good shape

Had a great site, watched a herd of deer in the evening :)

Overall, I 'd return but there are some things that could be improved. The spots are awfully close to one another and noise rules were not followed at all. The bathrooms were very tiny and NO SHOWERS. There was a line everytime. The best part was there was no cell phone network. The sites were clean and provided bear boxes.

Bathrooms were quite clean, camp hosts were friendly, responsive, and helpful; music program was interesting (about mountain people's history and music), and the other campers were very considerate and friendly. Scenery was beautiful! The broiled cod entre at the Main Street Grill in Front Royal was fresh! Recommend Matthew's Arm campground, as it is closest to Front Royal, which has everything you need, such as cavern tours, restaurants, grocery, firewood. Front Royal is growing!

Nice peaceful campground

Great Campground been going there since I was 6 years old, storage boxes have been installed at most sites to protect your food and other items from wildlife. The fall is almost here, and I think it's the best time of the year to enjoy the park.

Ranger Hannah and whoever the woman was at the check-in station (Friday evening 8/22) were both very friendly and kind. Clean campgrounds.

The campsite was definitely spacious and we loved that a park ranger came around to inform us of programs happening nearby for the evening.

Our site was comfortable and secure. Nothing exceptional. The restrooms were in working order, not particularly clean but not filthy. The utility sink was in pretty bad shape but we didn't use it anyway. Electric hookups would have been helpful, but that is a known situation. Same with lack of shower facilities.

Park staff are very cordial, friendly, pleasant, helpful - which makes me feel welcome. Thank you. Facilities are well maintained.

Easy to book via Recreation.gov, easy to check in. Safe and clean spot. A great experience through and through.

We stayed at the campground on a week day in August, and it was very quiet and pleasant experience.

Campground was nicely set up, with plenty of space around sites to embed ourselves into the wilderness. Restrooms were pretty good, and the trails leading around were enjoyable as well. I would have loved to have had firewood available for purchase at the campground, but that was not the case.

No tent pad at this site, just a dirt depression that barely fit a 3 person tent. There is a small slope that directs water down from the picnic table towards the tent. While at first glance this site is seemingly tucked away from the neighboring sites, this slope has an unfortunate effect of amplifying all the noise at the group sites a couple hundred feet away, making all the more apparent the lack of ranger enforcement of quiet hours. You will also have the pleasure of sharing the nearest bathroom to you with the group sites (which can accommodate up to 75 people at max capacity), which by Saturday evening will be pushed well beyond capacity and running out of toilet paper. If you hate the sounds of nature, like waking up in a puddle, and question why you enjoy going camping anyway, this is the spot for you.

Great campground with lots of shade.

Nice campground in Shenandoah National Park. Some variation in site size. Some very generous, some a bit small even for a tent. Convenient to the park store (2 miles) for ice and firewood. Nice trail (Traces) around campground

Site A001 is quite small with uneven surface. The campsite has no shower, bathrooms were so so and Sunday morning 6am, trash pickup was in full swing. Check-in was smooth and staff was friendly!

Serene Stay Tucked in the Trees. The campground was clean and well-maintained, with spacious sites in the trees that offered just enough privacy while still a short walk from amenities. Waking up surrounded by nature made each morning feel peaceful and unrushed.

Very scenic, roomy site, nice camp store just before you get there, great for those items you realized are sitting nicely on the kitchen counter, so you dont forget them.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
