Loved the privacy of the sites. Enjoyed several iof the hikes from our campsite without having to get in the car.

We stayed two nights in B123 and then one night in A101. For us, 30' TT, the A101 has a better spot for us. The park is beautiful and has great access to trails. We attended the ranger program on Thursday evening which provided great history of the park.

Nice camp sites with ample room and a nice grill grate on the fire pit for cooking. Short walk to the bathrooms. Only thing I'd recommend is to bring your own usda approved wood if you can find it. The park store had plenty of wood but it was all very wet and hard to get burning.

The camp was clean well spaced out sites. Accommodation were as advertised. Staff was friendly.
Mathews Arm campground is pretty nice. The bathrooms are clean. The dumpsters are well kept near the bathrooms. They have recycling. There's an amphitheater near the overflow parking lot. While we were visiting, the park had free programming on the night sky. There are a number of trails around the campground too - one of which goes to a waterfall. Our campsite had was spacious enough to also set up a picnic blanket. We had a large tent that fit without a problem at our site. Some sites may have not fit it though so double check when making a reservation that it says tent vs. small tent. Our site was shaded by trees which is the case for most sites. The only downside was that our site had a slight slope to it which didn't really impact our set up, activities, or sleeping. It just made our kids' ball roll into the bushes regularly.

Campground was nice and bathroom was clean. The only problem was there was no way to dry hands-the hand drier didn’t work. When park people were informed, they did put paper towels in there but they didn’t even last a day.
Very well-kept clean campsite. For tent camping it was somewhat tight. Trail heads a short distance from the campsite and some great trail heads to hike on. Highly recommend
The campsite was clean and well maintained as well as the restroom. The staff was friendly and helpful.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
