This site is very secluded, surrounded by small pine trees, and there are steps and a small hill down to the site. The site is small; it may be enough for one tent. There are not enough big trees nearby for hammocks. Also, there is a 1 bar LTE signal but no internet signal. The good part about this site is no one can see you. We also noticed no yellowjacket at this site compared to others, but we were not sure because of the weather or the time we went.

Great weather, very little bugs, convenient access to clean restrooms, free hot showers, electricity (at some campsites), friendly staff, near the grocery store... all made for a wonderful trip. The campsites can be a little uneven, making it a little difficult to find a flat spot to put a tent on. We were a group of 15 (including 9 children) and stayed at site 87, 89, and 91, which worked out really well for our group.

Beautiful area, clean well kept sights, staff is helpful and friendly. They have tent sites and rv sites both with electric hook-ups. They have bathrooms with showers and water spigots near camp sites.

Extremely clean, all the employees were so friendly and helpful. The sites are spaced perfectly and individually private. I have already recommended this campground to several friends and family. I look forward to returning.

This is a beautiful, well maintained campground nestled among black oaks, ponderosa pines, incense cedar and fir trees. Spacing and privacy between sites is above average but does vary depending on each particular site. It really seems like this campground was built around the forest and natural landscapingThings to be aware of: 1) Black bears and bobcats are in the area. There are bear boxes and use is encouraged for anything that you might store outside. 2) The sites are very unlevel. Some are extremely unlevel. Longer rigs may have a hard time with front to back leveling, so check the site details carefully. 3) Water spigots are scattered around. I suggest stopping at one you see beside the road. We had decent verizon coverage and spotty tmobile coverage. Starlink at our site was passable enough for TV streaming, but I can see this not being the case with some of the other sites.Things to check out: Arrowhead Village, Lake Gregory, Strawberry Peak Fire Lookout, and lots of hiking trails.

We love Dogwood! We have camped here more than a dozen times over the last 10 years, and love that the sites are spacious, facilities are always spotless, tons of trees and birds, close to the lake and even has an amazing hiking trail that you can access from the campground. Can't wait to come back !!

I return every year- my favorite camping grounds! The restrooms are clean (kept up), showers in order, staff is friendly and helpful, people are respectful- always a great experience.

We love this campground. We have stayed at sites 51 and 57. Both are good spacious sites with shade and sun. 57 is much more secluded. (51 is across from a group site 50 so it may get loud if the group site 50 is occupied.) The campground was very quiet and the facilities are super clean with free showers.

The dogwoods are a little late this year but there were several areas to appreciate the beauty. The staff takes amazing attention to detail in the sites and campground as a whole and are beyond helpful and friendly.Of course we couldn't miss a dinner at Creekside Bistro - Duck Fat Fries!!!

Love site 57. Very secluded. You have to walk your gear about 40 yards to the site but it is definitely worth it. Campground is quiet and the facilities are the cleanest I have seen in a campground. Free showers are amazing.

This campground is nice. Plenty of trees. Really peaceful and quiet. Although One camper ran generator past 10pm. But it didnt break me. There are bathrooms and showers which were nice and clean. The Hosts (on site) were nice and helpful. A little bothersome at the same time though with fire building. Despite that Id come back. Its not far from home and yet a great get away. It feels I went somewhere far.

Very nice area. Made another reservation for the future since we really enjoyed it. Parking is big enough for a big suv plus a tent. Bathrooms / showers were close by and very clean. One bathroom did get clogged and got closed.

Clean facilities, nice camp hosts, quiet grounds - they actually enforce quiet hours. Dogwood hiking trail is perfect for trail running and easy hiking. Lots of shade, free hot showers, and lots of potable water spigots around the camp. We stayed at site 74, I will say the site is a bit slanted in some spots so there is really only one spot that is nice and flat for a 4 person tent, and then maybe one more spot for a smaller 2 person tent. Overall we enjoyed this site and would select it again. Its close to restrooms (2 sites over), spacious, shaded and water spigot right at the site. Showers are a 2 minute walk. We had neighbors but felt enough space between us that we didnt interfere with each other.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
