Dogwood Campground is located in the Mountaintop Ranger District, San Bernardino National Forest (31 min northeast of San Bernardino, CA) with an elevation of 5,784 feet. There are a total of 88 campsites including 36 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. 50 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 18 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $40.00 to $79.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Beautiful campground, very clean and well kept. Host are very nice and helpful. The dogwood trail is an amazing experience. The only fault I found was the steep angles of the drive ways. If you have an rv, its a bit challenging to level your rig perfectly but doable.

I camped out here just by myself for one day, and it was a great experience. The sites are large and they have good amount of distance in between. Shoutout to the elderly couple managing the place. They were very helpful and kind. Great family oriented site.

This is such a great campsite! The bathrooms and campsite were super clean, the park rangers were kind, and our site was great! Me and my best friend had such a great girls trip! We plan to come back!

It was amazing experience. First time camping and I had a great time I came late night to the campsite but the site host I think pete was super friendly and informative. I got to my site and it looked just like the picture on the site. Bathrooms and trash were nearby do that was convenient. Definitely coming back

Dogwood Campground is a great spot for families. My family went with two other families, and we all had an awesome time. The site was clean and surrounded by trees. Ours was conveniently close to the restroom and had both water and electricity, which really came in handy.It was pretty cold during our stay, but we stayed comfortable thanks to the fire pit. The bathrooms were clean and even had hot water for showers. The campground hostsa couplewere wonderful. They made regular rounds to ensure everyone was following the rules and staying safe. Firewood was also available for purchase from the hosts at the entrance, which was very convenient.Its also dog-friendly. We brought our dogs, and just note they need to be leashed at all times. The campground felt very safe for kids too. Our kids were able to walk around on their own, and we also joined them at times.The location is another big plus. Its about an hour away from Big Bear and just 10 minutes from the village, where you can grab groceries and other quick shopping needs.Overall, Dogwood Campground is a great place to camp. Its close enough for a convenient trip, and the drive there is beautiful with lovely scenery. Id definitely go back and would happily recommend it.

Its really clean environment, good trails, and nice flush toilets. Close to the town, easy to get grocery/CVS.Most surprisingly, they have signals! But I enjoy the melody from the campsite near you!

Beautiful campground with excellent facilities. Unfortunately the showers closest to our favorite site were out of order. It was the last week of their season and so very few people which was nice.

Dogwood campground is one of the prettiest places to camp in so cal surrounded by forest and beautiful skies also just a few miles from beautiful Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory. It is maintained so well, the grounds are clean, campsites clean, bathrooms/showers clean, the hosts are super helpful and are frequently seen throughout the campground attending to all your needs. Utilities inc E/W with a dump station on site. If you dont feel like cooking you can find restaurants in the Village at Arrowhead and our personal favorite is Lou Eddies Pizza situated in the middle of a forest don't miss out on it.

The campgroun is beautiful but the site that I reserved was ridiculously small. My tent wouldn't fit on the dirt, I would have had to put it on the paved parking spot. I didn't stay at my sight because of that. Thankfully I went with some friends and their site was big enough to accommodate two tents. My site was 72.

I visited during the gov shut down, I assume the the camp was maintained by the host. They were working constantly and the restroom next to my spot was very clean.

We enjoyed our site. It was spacious and we were able to fit 2 4-person tents. the facilities were kept clean, and the site had a perfect view of the night-time sky. we loved that this site is only 2 hours away so easy to get away for a short weekend trip. The grounds were kept clean. Just the showers were not working near our area, but not a biggie for a 2-day trip. We especially enjoyed camp hose "Dave" and also Donna (who checked us in). She was so helpful as the last time we met, we had to literally turn around and go back home since it started to snow as we drove up to the campground. She remembered us and share several tips to help us get our bearings for the campground. We will definitely visit again :-)

We always love staying at Dogwood campground. The campsites, are always spacious, restrooms are always clean, and they have great trails for everyone. If you prefer an electric lot I recommend lot number 18, 19, and 94. If you dont mind a non-electric lot I recommend lot 34 and 71 lots of privacy.
