Dogwood Campground is located in the Mountaintop Ranger District, San Bernardino National Forest (31 min northeast of San Bernardino, CA) with an elevation of 5,784 feet. There are a total of 88 campsites including 36 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. 50 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 18 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $40.00 to $79.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Site 48 was an amazing site. It was shady thoughtout the entire day. This site is less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest bathrooms and under a 5 minute drive from the nearest showers. It has a nice flat area for your tent and is the perfect size for a family. Regarding the campground here are a few overall comments. - This campground has running water. It also has free hot water showers which are always clean. This campsite is one of the cleanest I have visited. The staff check the bathrooms and shower regularly throughout the day making sure everything is good. - The staff/hosts at this site were so amazing. They answered all my questions and were very friendly.- An important thing to note is that this campground has ACTIVE BEARS. We were told that they are friendly and with the two encounters we had, one at night and one during the day both times the bears got easily spooked by loud noises. I highly recommend using the bear box for any food you may have. - Upon our arrival we were informed that firewood was only allowed for campfires. They do sell firewood bundles with 6 pieces of wood for $10 which is cheaper than the small markets down the road but I highly recommend buying firewood before hand.

This is a really nice, well maintained campground. Our campsite, #84, was very close to the High School. There was a football game on a Friday night and it felt like the band was in our tent with us. I think if I were to come back, I may pick a site on the north end. But regardless, we had a nice time and the facilities were great. Seems like a great place for families.

Great campground and kind staff! Also enjoyed the trails. I didnt quite understand why check-in was late (2pm vs 12pm). I also dont agree with the second car being charged $8 to park if two spots are allowed.

This was our second time staying at Dogwood Family Campground. The Camp Hosts were welcoming and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of soap and toilet paper. We enjoyed easy access to trails straight from the campsite that were dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time checking out Dogwood campground and I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves to camp. Beautiful campgrounds and the cleaness overall is a 10 plus. I met Host Dave and he's so easy going and friendly. He was very helpful within the surrounding areas to check out. Can't wait to book my next trip back Sooner than later.

It was super easy accessing the site from the main road. The area of our site was a little confusing because of how far down the campsite went, however, it was a minor issue. The area was a great spot, just steps away from the restrooms and there was also cell service.

The camp site is very well maintained and always kept clean. Staff were kind and helpful. At night, park ranger periodic drive by around the campground gave definitive sense of safety and security. Hiking trails were a little tricky but nothing complicated. It was nice and well maintained trail. Overall, its excellent.

Dogwood is one of the most beautiful clean and most of all quiet places to camp.The staff is very helpful. It is very close to town lots of good places to eat.

A very clean, beautiful, and well laid out camp ground with electrical outlets. Could even charge our EVs! In majestic woods five minutes away from Lake Gregory. Many restrooms with showers. The only downside is the high school right next to the campground - they started football practice at 7 AM on Saturday morning; so look for sites away from it if early morning noise bothers you.

It was great from the beginning to the end. The attendant at the gate as we entered / checked in was so incredibly friendly and helpful. It set the tone for the entire few days. The site was perfect. My kids loved it. I also appreciated that the showers were not coin operated. I appreciated the access to downtown restaurants and pizza. Definitely will come back. Thanks

This is a really nice campground. I liked the amount of room that each site has. Many sites are capable of having multiple large tents. I like the roads and each parking space is paved it cuts down on all the dirt being thrown up all over everything. The restrooms are nice but they could use an extra one in the south end of the campground.

The campsite was clean and peaceful, with plenty of space to set up. Amenities were surprisingly good restrooms were clean, and there was access to fresh water. Nighttime by the fire was the best part smores, stories, and pure relaxation. The hiking trails nearby were well-marked and gave some beautiful views.

Great campground with free hot showers. Site 25 is very spacious and can easily fit several tents. Water spigot is right next to site and restrooms are a short walk away.
