Love everything about this campsite 61, lots of shade and just enough sun. The only negative I have would be the yellow jacket bees that come when your cooking, they leave you alone as long as you dont scare, just let them and youll be fine.

This is a great campground. Since it is close to home, I've been twice in the last month while I get used to camping again and I will be going back.

The place is super clean and well taken care of by the staff and the Dogwood camp host. They are super friendly and helpful since you arrive at the check in booth. The Bathrooms and showers are always clean. The quiet hours are respected and everyone is very friendly. We always have a great time At Dogwood

Site # 061 is an excellent site if you are a social butterfly. You are in close proximity to several other campsites as well as trash receptacles, potable water, showers, and restrooms. The site itself was nice. There is flat ground large enough for a 6 person tent and plenty of trees to get your hammock on. It is close to several trail heads which made getting in a quick hike a breeze. Highly recommended campground and campsite.

Beautiful campground! Showers and bathrooms were great. Close to the village. Unfortunately we encountered a ton of yellowjackets at our site and couldnt eat or relax until dark, through no fault of the campground. They did provide yellow jacket traps at the sites but it was just the wrong season to go I guess.

We really enjoyed our time here. The spaces were all so unique and different and we enjoyed the 2 we stayed in. The second one ( 91 ) was closer to the high school on the outer rim of the park and that was the only thing that was a bit disrupting to the peace and quiet. We hear cheering going in for quite a few hours. I think on that side of the park you're going to hear it more than our first spot over on the other side near the amphitheater. There was a black bear that entered the campground and made it's rounds through the campground in the middle of the day a couple days before we arrived so please take precautions no matter what time of day or night it is. The camp host are out and about constantly driving around in the golf carts and maintaining all the needs of the park and are very nice people. Overall we loved it here and will definitely be back!

Why doesn't the host go around and shut down loud parties after 10PM? It was really loud, music, guys partying.

Great camp with superb bathrooms and plentiful hammock trees. If you're coming through, bring a few hammocks for a maximal experience. Also, be ready for slightly thinner air. I'm athletic and jogging a bit winded me.
