The campsite was clean and peaceful, with plenty of space to set up. Amenities were surprisingly good restrooms were clean, and there was access to fresh water. Nighttime by the fire was the best part smores, stories, and pure relaxation. The hiking trails nearby were well-marked and gave some beautiful views.

The Campground and surrounding forest are beautiful. I was in site 63 on the Fir Loop. Unfortunately, very loud campers in 2 other campsites on the Fir Loop, until after 1am+ during my stay. and FYI site 63 is right across from the bathrooms, very open, sunny on 2 sides and people like to walk through the campsite to use the bathrooms. I'm going for site 72 a little further up and more private, next stay.

Dogwood is a beautiful campground. We have been coming for about 15 years except during Covid The campground hosts are great!

So glad to have found this campground! The reviews were spot on. We reserved site 63. Ground was nice and level and well kept. We were worried about being to close to the restrooms, but it worked out in our favor. We were able to get water, wash our hands, and use the restroom by just crossing the road. Restrooms and showers were always clean and stocked with paper and soap. My husband left his phone in a restroom one morning. The camp host found it and brought it to the check in booth to be kept safely for us until we returned back to camp later that day. One and only complaint is that we didn't have enough shade. Easily solved with an easy up (which we didn't have) We'll bring one next time. All in all, amazing experience!

Good times!!!! The stay was great. Bee's were a problem, but hey they have to eat too! Travel on HWY 18 was challenging due to intermittent closures for construction. Stayed in 63, 65 and 86. Sites 63 and 65 are very nice. No hookups but, the sites are level and roomy. Site 86 is also nice with electric hookup however, if your trailer is over 25' long getting into the site may be difficult.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The campsite was almost perfect it was level, close to the bathrooms/water. However it was close to the trash cans so there were yellow jackets everywhere. Other then that it was a great time. Well definitely be going back.

Not only is the location absolutely beautiful, it also has great amenities. When we arrive, we are greeted by friendly staff, and our site is always meticulously clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. The camp hosts are situated at various places around the campground and are easily accessible and very helpful in answering our questions. Dogwood is definitely our favorite campground!

the campground is very nice with a lot of trees for privacy. The facilites were in good order and there were plenty of water filling stations. I came in from the east, Idyllwild, and it was a little tricky to find this campground. You can't really see the sign for it from the road until you make the turn for the little road in to the campground. It is close to Lake Arrowhead. When I was there you could not have any campfires. There isn't a campstore there but since it is close to Lake A and Running Springs you can buy what you need there. The campground has a trail, Dogwood Trail, which is nice.

Experience at dogwood campground was awesome. The staff are on top of everything including when bears come on site. The restrooms are always maintained. The only thing I didn't like is the showers not being open other than that I had an awesome time.

Dogwood has been a favorite campground for my family for years. More recently our Sierra Club group started camping there. They really enjoy it as well. It's a beautiful campground. We enjoy having several trails on site such as the Dogwood Trail. We also always like to visit Heaps Peak arboretum when we are nearby and the trail around Lake Gregory.
