The campground hosts are unreasonable tyrants that impose ridiculous rules just because they think they have authority over others. They also claim that asking questions is equitable to being 'rude'.

Our latest visit was our second to Potato Patch. We knew after our first stay that we would definitely be back! Rick is a great host. He is helpful, personable and he works hard to keep the B-Loop clean and in good condition. The area up on the Mogollon Rim is a great place to camp, especially during the summer when down in the valley, aka The Firepit, it is soooo HOT! It's a nice escape from the heat and we welcome the relief. Make sure to make your reservations early for those perfect dates for your perfect stay.We will be back!

We stay at potato patch at least 2-3 trips per year for the last 4-5 years. We love the camp! Its very clean and a beautiful quiet area with the really nice trail close by with views of Sedona.

We had a fantastic stay at Potato Patch Campground! Nestled in the Prescott National Forest, its quiet, clean, and surrounded by beautiful pines. The camp hosts were friendly, and nearby trails like Woodchute offered stunning views. Whether you're tenting or RVing, its a perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommended!

Things we liked the most were: having electricity, clean restrooms & a tranquil setting. We've already booked another reservation there before the season ends

We reserved camp ground space #4. We found the site to be clean and ready for our setup upon arrival. We were concerned of noise and smell with a restroom nearby; however there were no issues. With a handy trail, we could easily visit friends who had reserved in the trailer/RV area of the camp ground. Nearby we enjoyed hiking on Mingus Mountain, as the views overlooking Sedona and the Verde Valley were amazing! Great camping spot!

We were in the RV area. Overall clan and quiet. The visit was fine but, the area is small and the spaces are very close together. The fire pit from the camp sight next to us was right under our window and smoke kept blowing in and we had to smell cigarette smoke from our neighbor the whole time we were there. Probably wont book the rv site again.

Road noise (Route 89A) annoying at times; campground host very nice; bathrooms maintained well

Potato Patch campground is great! It's so close to the tri-cities area around Prescott and offers a fast way to beat the heat. The campground is well maintained and has lots of tall pines. The toilets are kept very clean for vault toilets so they're not a bad experience. The campground is very close to an amazing vista of the Verde Valley. Truly a gem of a campground.

The park staff or excellent very friendly and helpful. The cleanest open pit toilets I've ever seen. No smell no bugs very well maintained. Just watch out for the skunks we tend to roam the park at night.

All the sites in the loop we were on (loop A I believe) were pull through. The sites are long enough for fairly large travel trailers or RV's but we had to unhitch our truck and park it beside the travel trailer. The sites are not widely separated but there are trees between, Aspens. The only trail I'm aware of is a short trail from Loop A to Loop B - good option for walking the dog. The temperature was comfortable and there was adequate shade when we added our canopy to the tree shade. We drove from the camp site into Jerome on the two nights we were there. My wife was very interested in checking out the shops. I recommend "The haunted hamburger" restaurant.

This is a great spot! Will definitely be back here. But be warned, there is another place named potato patch about an hour away. Waze sent me there by mistake, the 2 are roughly the same mileage from Las Vegas so it was an easy mistake.

Rick, the host, is on top of everything. His wife is also incredibly kind and professional. Sad to have them end their hosting at Potato Patch.I really appreciated the composting toilets, thank you!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
