This camp site as of 5/25 needs improvement. Tent pad is old and slanted, picnic table is concrete , not level and was in a mud puddle. Needs a revamp like the campsite next to this one.

Beautiful location, lake access, tons of free range kids that roam around and entertain your kids, mountain bike trails -- what more could you ask for?

Great location for a group camping trip. My only complaints are not taking care of poison ivy right next to tent pads and the hand dryer in the men's bathroom in loop C has never worked in the almost 15 years I've been visiting.

Campground was beautiful and clean. Our site was amazing and the campground hosts were very nice as the checked on the campground a few times while we were there. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Thank you!

The campground staff was friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and taken care of. Beach and swim area were tons of fun for the kids. There were both shallow and deep areas. Kids enjoyed fishing at the campsite.

This was a very unpleasant stay due to the other campground guests' dogs that produced incessant and unbelievably loud screams. They were a couple campsites down from me on either side and it absolutely ruined my experience. Why bring your dog and make them miserable? Happy and relaxed dogs don't make those kind of sounds for hours upon hours. I left early, because of the other guests. Please don't be selfish. If your dog doesn't enjoy it, and you don't respect your neighbors, then just stay home.

Campground was great, solar worked well in trailer so we were very comfortable. Cell service was very good. The only downside was the weather - rain every day! But that is expected in the spring in the mountains. Looking forward to next trip to JR, and can then experience the bike trails and kayaking.

We love Lake Chatuge and have enjoyed camping there! The host is very friendly and we were very happy with that! Our camp site, A22 was not exactly what we expected as the neighboring campsite is directly in front of our camper door! Too close! This would be ok for booking together but not for two separate parties! Overall we had a great weekend!

Lovely site, close enough to the facilities without being right on top of them. Has good access to the water, a bit of a slope, but nothing that would prevent launching an SUP or kayak. 4-5 steps down to picnic table/firepit area. Only problem was the restrooms running out of toilet paper for about a day, but it's probably staffing issues. BYOTP!Love the serenity of this place!

Favorite campgrounds! We love the incredible views and access to the trails. The sites are level, generously sized, and they arent on top of each other.

Tent site was well maintained and the neighbors were lovely

Had an excellent short weekend! The campsites were generally private and the Loop B was nice and quiet. The view was very nice and the bathrooms/shower rooms were within a reasonable walking distance. The only thing is, when you go to take a shower sometimes you have to wait a good few minutes for the water to get warm enough to jump in. Fantastic experience overall and cant wait to be back!

Came to ride the mountain bike trails and they were great. Glad to see they had made the trails come right out of the campground.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
