Love Jack Rabbit. Tried the loop with site 90 for the first time. This loop is much quieter. I usually stay on loop with site 55. Bathrooms are always clean. Sites on the lake seem to all have trail access to the water. Mtn bike trails are great there. Def worth the trip!

Lovely camp ground!! Stayed at site 90 and excellent location to bathroom and lake. The view of the mountain on the lake was beautiful! Will definitely return!

Honestly, we had a lovely time. It was a trade-off to park my little trailer on the asphalt and have to walk down steps to the campsite, but C loop was quiet, and the campsites are not on top of each other like A and B loops. It was also nice to have a short walk to the lake, and to be able to keep our kayaks down by the water. We plan on returning again!

Site 90 was great. Large camping space - tent pad comfortably fit 2 tents, fire pit/grill combo, 2 large hooks to hang bags and a picnic table. Bathrooms and drinking water were very close from site. There is a path from the campsite down to the lake. Can get noisy with all the boats passing by but it was kinda nice to watch them

We don't spend much time in or around Lake Chatuge when we camp at Jackrabbit Mountain, but I can say that the campsite itself is very nice. We are tent campers and the tent pads are well maintained at most of the sites. The shoreside sites are the best in my opinion because they give you an amazing sunset view over the lake. It might be convenient to choose sites close to the bathrooms and showers, but I would not recommend not doing that if you are a light sleeper because the lights used to illuminate the building are like a lighthouse beacon.
