What a pleasant camping experience despite the afternoon T-storms. We stayed in site 14 loop A in a 21 Coachmen Nova. Site was perfectly level no leveling needed. Site was spotless and all equipment functional. Camp host friendly and helpful in information about trails. Camp store well stocked and provided a handmade trail map that was a bit difficult to follow but served us ok. Restroom and bath house exceptional and very clean.There is NO cell service period but there is satellite texting possible if you have the latest update, who knew?The variety of site configurations is nice if you want open, pull thru or secluded. Several double sites in each loop. Highly recommend Standing Indian so much that we convinced ourselves to return two weeks later this August.

There was a noticeable improvement in the sites with new gravel and grading so that they appeared more level. It would be nice if there was easier access from the bridge down to the river

Both couples had a relaxing vacation. It was a little hike to the restroom for these retired people but we survived. Weather was cool, with daily rain showers. We took trip to Hiawassee GA and day trip to Helen GA. Not too far to drive. All in all it was a great stay we will be back.

Driest firewood we've ever had, which was great! Store should consider selling Kleenex - I'm sure I'm not the first to have a bit of allergies when I got there. Love this campground, especially loop 5. Wish the young girls camping would turn off the lights in the bath house, like the sign says, but that was a reflection of the youth of the campers, not the campground or the hosts. The "no dogs in the bath house" sign disappeared while we were there, just in case that wasn't intentional. After Helene, a great job getting the whole place ready to reopen for this year. I'm sure that was a job. Thanks to all the hosts!

Great campsite! We stayed in Loop 5 and it was very private. A lot of tree cover for privacy, and a little rain protection. Quick walk down to the creek too. We will definitely come back here!

Site 13 is a dream. Two weeks of the Nantahala lulling us to sleep every night. Judy and the folks at the camp store always make you feel welcomed.

Very well-kept campground in a beautiful, quiet setting. Very clean restrooms. Nice hiking trail along the river that is kept clear of fallen trees. Dog-on-leash rule should be better enforced. Encountered three rather nasty dogs the first day.

Campground was beautiful and off the beaten path. Loop 5 is by far the most secluded which is nice if youre tent camping. However, loop 5 should be tents only. Nobody wants to hear a generator kicking on and off at night. Loops 2, 3, & 4 are all out in the open, which while pretty gives no privacy at all. Loop 1 is on or near the river which is nice. Tent campers should go with loop 5 or 1 if you choose to visit. I will not be visiting this camp ground again only due to the bathhouses being so bad. Showers were awful and push button showers, so you have to keep pressing the button every 5 seconds or the water will shut off. There no place at all to place your stuff anywhere in the bathhouse and the floors were always wet. If the campground would renovate their bathhouse then I might consider camping here again.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
