Had an excellent short weekend! The campsites were generally private and the Loop B was nice and quiet. The view was very nice and the bathrooms/shower rooms were within a reasonable walking distance. The only thing is, when you go to take a shower sometimes you have to wait a good few minutes for the water to get warm enough to jump in. Fantastic experience overall and cant wait to be back!

Jackrabbit Campground is a wonderful place to camp. There are so many activities---hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming! The lake and sunset views are breath taking!

Pros: Beautiful lakefront campsites. Some have direct access to water, some have a drop off. Nice camp hosts (new this year 2023). Great for relaxing and wonderful lake views. Sites are clean and water is nearby. Cons: no hot water in bathrooms (so cold showers), no soap in the bathroom and if you leave soap for other campers (even no mess liquid soap), the cleaning service takes them (even when full!). That is absurd. Camp hosts warned us about this but didn't believe the cleaning service would take full containers of liquid soap. No firewood or ice for sale, have to bring it in yourself. Overall very nice campground but only worth a stay for 3-4 nights as not much to do around there.

We enjoyed tenting next to the beautiful lake. Initially, we were surprised to see there were steps down to our tent pad. This seems to be true for all sights except the handicap sites. As the park was relatively deserted, we had a wonderfully private campsite. The hosts were nice but unobtrusive. The bathrooms need maintenance. Sink faucets did not work. One shower ran for 2 days continuously even though it was unoccupied. The upper showers would shut off after 20 to 30 seconds so to shower required continuous turning on the water. Overall the cleanliness of bathrooms was lacking - cobwebs, mud, etc. The Jackrabbit Mtn trail near the entrance was a very enjoyable hike. The trail is well maintained but not crowded.

Jack Rabbit campground it one of the best campgrounds we have found. The host is nice and made us feel safe while giving us our space to enjoy this beautiful lake and campground. The site we got was right on the lake which is awesome. We love to fish. The lake has good bank fishing at the campground. the only thing we would suggest is , It would be great if they provided soap in the restrooms.
We always look forward to our time at Jack Rabbit Campground!
