People where parked all over the place had to tract down owners of vehicles to jave them move them so could back in to the spot. Other then that it was a nice experience there peaceful relaxing.

We always have such a wonderful time when we camp at Cape Fair! The park is clean, the playground is nice, the beaches are peaceful, and the bathrooms are sparkling! We will continue to return!

The campground was clean as well as the restrooms. I was a bit worried as the showers were in the bathrooms and the floors were extremely wet. Yes, there was a caution sign, but I really think there should be a solution to such a wet floor. The cleaning personnel were extremely friendly. Waved and ask if we needed anything. There was never anyone at the check-in booth. Not on our arrival, leaving for groceries or checking out. This lead to a dilemma as the Park Ranger stopped and almost gave us a ticket because my husband was not at the campsite that day and he is the one who has the Lifetime Senior Pass. It would not have been an issue had the check-in station been occupied when we arrived. Our granddaughter called us while the Ranger was there and he spoke to my husband. He then apologized as he did not have that information.

We always have a great time at Cape Fair Marina. Campground is beautiful with clean showers and restrooms. Short drive to Flat Creek restaurant or have your own fish fry with the fish you catch. The grandkids love it and there is a swim area when the weather gets hot. Beautiful place and we will be back.

Overall very nice place. Fortunately, it was not busy the weekend we were there. Originally had spot 2 very narrow, also not very level. Barely enough room to put the steps down. Spot 1 was much wider and deeper. We ended up in spot 20. Perfectly level and right on the water. 21 was also a nice spot.

This is a hidden gem. The camp host and camp superintendent were very personal-able. We'll be back next year.

Many sites had lake views and easy access to walking to the water fusing or watching the sunset. We had a very relaxing and quiet 4 days. In part because it rained every day! Wed go again though for sure!

Quiet, clean and beautiful. Bathroom and showers wonderful. My only complaint is the lack of a stepdown to picnic table and fire pit.

We reserved on line. We had a tent and when booking it asked what equipment you were coming with, camper, tent etc. We got there and they said it wasn't a tent site but the day before someone else put one up there. We were fortunate there weren't high winds or any issues since we couldn't put down tent stakes (site was pavement) however the site itself was beautiful. Great lake view and wooded. The bathrooms needed lights. Not very well lit and no soap. Did appreciate they were flush toilets. Nice playground and swimming area too

The campsite (36) we had was very nice. But was very short and shared an entrance to it with site 37. So that made it difficult to park the camper and truck. The steps into the table and fire pit from the camper were pretty problematic for us several times with our little kids. Many scrapes and bumps due to these steps. Other than that pretty nice campground.

We have been going to Cape Fair for years, the Rangers and Camp Host have always been wonderful and helpful. Would love to see some of the campsites on the side by the Marina opened back up. There use to be a lot more sites than there are now. We thought they were being redone to add water to them, but they were actually closed. We have tried other campgrounds, but nothing compares to this one.

We return to this campground because it is easy to get to, has level asphalt RV parking slips, and is very quiet. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and the park hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is also a very nice marina.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
