We enjoyed the swimming area and at the marina we had the ice cream. I like that the area is patroled and they are very nice to talk to. the Host do a good job of keeping the place clean.

Very Clean and well kept campground. Pizza world at on the dock was fabulous, Pizza's were hot and very well made. Ice cream shop across from Pizza world for dessert. Most all sites are easy to back into.

Good site for kids. Right next to the playground. Site is rough with a longer trailer. Had my jack dropped all the way in front and could have used a few more inches to get it level.

1st camping trip with our trailer. Campground is relatively quiet, clean, well maintained, and easy to get to. Camp hosts and cleaning agents were friendly and pleasant. Site is back in and was paved. Gravel "drop off" at picnic table and fire pit. Electric and water hookups at back left of site. Sewer is not available at site, but dump station is located by dumpsters and just by the park entrance booth. Site 33 is located in the "middle" of the main campground and relatively easy to maneuver into, easy walk to swimming access and bath house. Campsites are close to each other, but our neighbors were not a bother. Marina was a brisk walk from our campsite, but not hard with terrain. There is a restaurant at the marina, but we did not stop in. Pleasant experience, we will return.

The campground is pretty and not overwhelmingly big. The host and the couple who clean are wonderful. Site 25, however, is in the most crowded part of the park. The living area sits on the road and the patio side is opposite the lake. The road is particularly narrow and the sites were smaller and closer together than usual. The sites around us all had multiple vehicles, tents, gazebos, bikes, boats, kayaks and hammocks which made the whole section feel really crowded. One site honestly looked like it was a commercial kitchen at a state fair. All of this made it hard to truly relax. I will say that everyone did observe quiet hours. We will give Cape Fair another try, but will choose a different section next time.

Lovely area, always clean

Ive never been to a campground where an attendant was so hateful and rude. The woman with gray hair and dog that lives in camper by the dump station needs a hospitality check and a lesson in ozarks welcome manners. WOW!!! We wint get anywhere near her when we're there

We have a 26 ft camper and this site was a nightmare to back into. The site says its for upto two vehicles, but I could barely get my mid-size SUV in the drive. I love capefair and will continue to visit for Many years to come. My only other concern is that many of the premium sites show as unavailable, but during my 7 day stay were vacant. Maybe something can be done to free them up when No one shows up or communicates on the first day of the reservation.

The loop by the marina is shaded. Each site has a decent view of the water. The shower house/bathrooms were very clean and trash emptied multiple times a day. Loved the marina, ice cream shop, and Pizza World. Even with it being next to the boat ramp it was quiet. Unfortunately, the beach was still underwater from recent flooding and was unable to use. We loved our stay there.

Lake level still very high. The campground has large back-in sites. Bathrooms are clean but don't have lights. Roads to campground are somewhat narrow, hilly, and curvy but campground is quite and off the beaten path.

Half of the campgrounds were partially under water so it is hard to rate. For the spot 46 it was very difficult to get into. I would say nothing over 30 feet should stay in this site. ATT service is terrible. Dump station looked impossible for a 35 ft 5th wheel. Beautiful lake close to Branson for something to do, well maintained.

Nice campground with view of lake. Campground hosts were very nice. Back-in camp sites with plenty of room, water, and electricity.. I camped in spot 30 in a cabover truck camper. But there was a 30+ foot fifth wheel in 30 with plenty of room. Bathrooms were clean with showers but did not have any lights inside. Lake was VERY high due to rains which closed many of the lakeside sites. Grass was a little high and could be mowed to look better but could have been related to recent rains. Roads leading into campground are curvy but manageable if you take it slow and steady. Overall I would recommend campground if in the area and looking for off the beaten camp spot.

Great location. We really enjoyed our week there. Beautiful, quiet and so peaceful. Already planning a future time there. The caretakers of the park do a great job keeping the bathrooms clean and supplied. Highly recommend this park.

Site was level, wide and well set up. There was some residual flooding at the beach and boat landing but grounds were well-kept overall. It would be nice if they built a dock for campers to fish.Branson is about a half hour away. There is a great pizza place not too far, Gerald's.

This site is not level. We used a lot of blocks to level and still antsy when its windy. Avoid site 11, 14- 17 unless you have tents or small units.

Park itself was lovely and distancing between sites was wonderful.Nice to stay in a campground where Quiet Time was observed and campers did not feel the need for loud music or excessive campsite lighting in the evening. Glorious area to observe the nighttime skies.An excellent stay, we will be back!
@TerriO5753143 · Camped on Oct 7, 2024 at Campsite #19
Our site was relatively level and had a great view of the lake. Shower houses were clean and typical but could sure use a bench for dry items and more hooks on the wall. The picnic table was down steps from the parking pad for our camper making it a bit nerve racking in the dark. Cape Fair is a pretty quiet part of the lake and that's just fine with us. If you like hiking the Piney Wilderness Area is relatively close. Shell Knob has a great sub sandwich shop called the SubMarina. It's just past the Pizza Hut across the bridge on the left. Great sandwiches and they are HUGE!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
