good place, waterfront site

There is no emergency warning for this campground. This is the second time this year we were in a severe thunderstorm without being notified it was coming. There should be sirens and perhaps a loudspeaker. Aldi, the bathrooms need some ventilation with a fan. They get so hot that I also passed out while trying to use the toilet.

There was no where to set up a tent at the site I reserved. There was a 8 ft retaining wall around the RV parking pad to make it level. Half the sites would not work with tents. The shower did not have a bench or anywhere to set stuff where showering. The shower was dark and I took a light in with me to shower. Hard to find the sites at night, the numbers are painted on the ground and hard to see at an angle

Cape Fair is my favorite camp ground for one thing it's one of the closest to me but it's a great campground it's always clean the people are friendly and there isn't loud wild parties. My only complaint it that a lot of the wealthier people keep night lights on so you can't appreciate the night sky like you use to there.
