The camp site was mowed and trimmed, The bath house was clean and well kept

there was no one manning the check in booth, completely empty. bathrooms definitely need some work and needed a good cleaning. the rest was good.

The campground is pretty and not overwhelmingly big. The host and the couple who clean are wonderful. Site 25, however, is in the most crowded part of the park. The living area sits on the road and the patio side is opposite the lake. The road is particularly narrow and the sites were smaller and closer together than usual. The sites around us all had multiple vehicles, tents, gazebos, bikes, boats, kayaks and hammocks which made the whole section feel really crowded. One site honestly looked like it was a commercial kitchen at a state fair. All of this made it hard to truly relax. I will say that everyone did observe quiet hours. We will give Cape Fair another try, but will choose a different section next time.

Very nice campground. Plenty of shade trees for most sites, except for those closest to the water's edge. All sites have a view of the water and good separation between sites. Showers were quite nice: very roomy; water quantity and quality both great; a shower control to regulate water temperature.

My family has camped at Cape Fair every fall, for the past 5 years. The campground, including the facilities, is always clean, the staff are friendly, and it's a very relaxing place. This stay was no exception. See you next year.

This is a beautiful campsite. The only thing we dont like is that there are no lights in the bathrooms. So when its dark, and especially cloudy, the only light inside the brick walled building is the small exterior building lights making it difficult and dangerous to navigate the bathroom area if you dont have a flashlight of some sort.

It would have been an excellent visit if it were not for the showers. We stay at campsites by the beach. Out of 4 bathrooms only 3 were working and of the 3 only one had hot water. At least they were very clean and so is the park. The exhaust systems in those bathroom are terrible. Been that way for almost 3 years that I know of cause that's how long we have been camping there. Your hosts there are excellent, very helpful and always friendly.Would like it if you had free wifi.
