We were there when it was very hot but we had an enjoyable stay at this location. If you use this campsite, you must be a very good backer of your RV. We would definitely use this facility in the future The BurrellsBogart Georgia GOOO DAWGS

We had an exceptional visit. In fact it was our second time camping there. Hope to go again.

Spot 39 is a horrible spot. Nowhere to really park vehicle besides the camper. Spot is hard to get in.

Just a quick overnight stop, but site was lovely and quiet, overlooking Tenn-Tom waterway. Quick friendly check-in. Bathrooms old but adequate, (still no soap in the dispensers). Improvements to several camp sites and the docks were evident.

When we entered Whitten Park, we were met by a most friendly and helpful attendant. The park was well maintained and we found our campsite with a very nice view over the river. The bathhouse was clean, but not air conditioned, so a little warm in late June. Mosquitos were encountered when venturing close to the water in the evening.Close to the park is a paved walking path that borders the staging pool for one of the locks on the river. We experienced a beautiful sunset view from the walking trail.

This was a great stop over on our way home from the Dakotas. This park is clean, and the sites are really nice. We were at the water, but it was behind us. Part of the campground was closed when we were there. This is where the beach is. The campground is somewhat small but has all you need. No sewer at campsite but does have a dump station. The Historic site in the campground is a must see. We were camped across from the bath house made it very convenient. The sites were shady and pretty level.

I would give an excellent rating, but the park needs some love. The undergrowth needs to be cut down and the paths maintained. Great place, awesome staff, family friendly, and beautiful sunsets.

Lovely campground, helpful staff, gorgeous lake! Squeaky clean facilities. Huge campsites for tent campers like me. I 100% recommend. I didnt reserve a cabin, but they looked amazing with stunning lake views.But, very out of the way. So, this is best for those who want to fish or have boat access. I am neither so I only stayed one night and continued my road trip.

If had sewage hook up would have been a five star rating.

Bathrooms can be better as far as maintenance. One of the shower heads was zip tied up. Love how sites are shaded

Host and staff are awesome. Definitely work hard to keep up the grounds. It does appear that the park has limited funding to keep up with the surrounding walk areas. I dont think this is because of host ignoring those areas. The host worked hard all day.

Definitely was a great location. Relaxing and quiet. I think the spots away from the water is better. Bigger and quieter. Management went over the top to care for our needs.

We love staying at Whitten camp site. It's always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.The only thing I wish, it had internet access. It's close to shopping and restaurant.

Beautiful setting and very quiet even though most sites were occupied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 11 and the views were amazing as it backs up to the waterway. Nice trails for some short walks along the waterway. Our 40 ft Super C fit fine. The only drawback was the picnic table and fire ring for the site next to us was very close.

This is a great park for a week stay or an overnight stop. There is shopping and food close by. Walking paths and fishing docks. A swimming spot in the summer months. I stay here every trip across the south...love the place.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
