Whitten Park was a stopover on my return trip from Florida to Missouri and I arrived after dark. Since I was running late the campground host called me to see if I was still coming. Since I was still coming she taped my tag to the office window. I really didnt get to fully experience the park because of my late arrival and early departure the next morning but I did use the bathroom and found it to be really clean and well maintained. There was enough light outside that I could tell that the grounds were in top shape as well. Maybe some day I will have the chance to camp there when the days are longer and I can get the full experience.

We have been here several times as a stopping point to Alabama and Florida. The spots are well spaced out and most of them are level. The bathrooms are clean, but would be nice if updated. Every time we go, we make sure to stop by Guys Place on Water at the marina. Amazing food and super friendly.

Older Park making improvements. I would stay here again.

My camping experience was OK. I was on spot 35 and found that the 50 Amp service on this spot was bad. The RV I was using needed the 50 Amp service for all of the heat to work. We got pretty cold the first night. I was able to move to a different spot the next day where the 50 Amp service worked. The camping experience was much better after the first night.

This was a surprisingly nice campground! The sites and facilities are well maintained and the fall weather (visited in November) was perfect for camping with few bugs and moderate humidity. Ray at the check-in shack was extraordinarily helpful and had good recommendations for what to do in the area. The campsite was quiet with a nice view of the river and access to the water. We went fishing from kayaks and it was a great experience.

US Army Corps of Engineers park on the Tom-Bigbee Waterway is another fine example of COE campgrounds.Although dated and becoming a bit overgrown this is a very nice place to stay. Spacious campsites well spaced from each other. Views of the river with a gazebo, fishing piers and a swim area. The museum was a plus.We would be happy to stay here again.

We were on our initial "RVing" with a new trailer. It had been several years since we owned a travel trailer and was able to work out and reacclimate ourselves to the trailer. Park was excellent and the park hosts were absolutely fantastic! As I forgot a few items -tools a 30amp adapter lol. They helped us out and provided some good tips and timesaver advice. Thank you for a wonderful "Shakedown" RVing experience! P.s. if ya vistit the park make sure to bring a bike our good walking shoes - they have a great path along the river way !!!

Excellent campground and nice site with nothing behind us except woods. While our site wasn't directly on the shoreline of the water, we had easy access/short walk to a gazebo that was on the shoreline and provided great views of the sunset. The only downside was something that is almost universal at campgrounds these days was that most other campers used RVs and had many had their HVAC systems running all night, and also had lots and lots of outdoor lights, big outdoor TV screens, etc. which in my view takes away from the experience for those who are trying to enjoy being in nature with darkness/stars/moon, and natural sounds such as owls hooting, etc.

This is a beautiful park. We stayed at site 52, which has a nice patio overlooking the water. The host could not have friendlier, nor more helpful. We loved it there

Park needs to clean up around the gazebo, the wooden structures need to be looked at for rot and safety. Beach area needs to be cleaned up. The restrooms need to be cleaned and critter free.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
