Holmes Bend Campground in Adair County is located 1 hr 11 min southeast of Elizabethtown, KY with an elevation of 856 feet. There are a total of 125 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 37 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 62 sites have electric and water hookups. 40 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

This site is a big corner site with extra space to park, shady, with a convenient table and fire pit locations. Close to a bathhouse.

Campground is kept up very well. The place is quite and all campers keep to themselves.

Campgrounds was clean restrooms where spotless we stay at site #98 there was a small problem with "Electrical wiring issue in the 30 amp park Electrical panel post was Torch by a short before we arrive and over labor day weekend it was difficult to keep electricity running at the post main electrical panel box. We notify the campground Host on site # 58 about issues in the breaker panel they stated because holiday weekend they will try to get someone out after the holidays. Anyway the campground was overall a pleasant stay.

Very nice campground. Quiet and friendly staff. Restrooms clean. I stay here several times a year and have never had a bad experience.

Always good camping at Holmes Bend. I wish they would consider putting in sewer sites. One problem we have experienced the last couple of times we have been there is the large number of skunks living in the main part of the campground. They need to be relocated to another location.

We really enjoyed here and loved all the shaded sites! Only thing that would make it a perfect stay is to have sewer at all trailer sites

Nice campsite. Was surprised that the day pass is not free for marina parking--campsite hang tag did not exempt my vehicle from getting a notice on the windshield that I owe $5. Would like to see an on-site store. Walking to marina is not pedestrian -friendly in my opinion.

So we was in site 52 for 4 days , Beautiful campground, Host were very friendly! My 120v plug wasnt working when I arrived, I had to use power from my friends site 55, I told camp host my issue, the gfi plug was tripped and wouldnt reset , they come and put a new gfi plug in , but didnt plug back up my camper! When we returned back my camper was 91 degrees inside! I was very angry, I have a 13 year old yorkie in there which is our child, he was very hot. This was very upsetting to me. If something was to happen to my dog , Im not sure what I would have done , that was my only issue with staying there also the plug didnt work when they put new one in

Lovely campground, and the trail was beautiful. The camp host was very welcoming and helpful. We were there only one night, which happened to be Saturday, and it was very busy.

We had the best time staying at Holmes Bend for 5 nights! The volunteers that run the campground were so friendly and everyone around us was also! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Campground. Loved the campsites especially with the gravel and railroad ties to eliminate mud. The shower houses had quite a bit to be desired and could definitely use an update. Other than that a very good experience and would go back sometime.

There were so many cars, trucks, boats, trailers, golf carts!!! People everywhere. The ladies bathhouse closed. Lots of big groups getting together. If there are rules for number of people and vehicles at a campsite, they should be enforced.

Campground was clean but needed to be mowed. We never saw any cleaning crews the week we were there. It would be helpful too if they would put in a Wi-Fi network for the campground.
