Holmes Bend Campground in Adair County is located 1 hr 11 min southeast of Elizabethtown, KY with an elevation of 856 feet. There are a total of 125 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 37 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 62 sites have electric and water hookups. 40 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

Love the campground. Only wish the rangers were more interactive , especially with the kids. A smile and friendly personality would go along way in their positions.

Had a pretty good visit. We were only there as a base camp. We spent most of our time seeing sites in the area.There was 1 rest room/shower area closed down with no explanation.the area was fairly quite during our stay.

We love the campground, however we were in site 97 right across from a bath/shower house which was locked. There were several campers in this section and were unable to use that bath house. It was very inconvenient.

I was very disappointed to see the bathhouse on the 90's loop close until end of Oct. Was on site I think the 16th of September when the closure first started...longer walk up to the other bathhouse.

This site is a big corner site with extra space to park, shady, with a convenient table and fire pit locations. Close to a bathhouse.

Campgrounds was clean restrooms where spotless we stay at site #98 there was a small problem with "Electrical wiring issue in the 30 amp park Electrical panel post was Torch by a short before we arrive and over labor day weekend it was difficult to keep electricity running at the post main electrical panel box. We notify the campground Host on site # 58 about issues in the breaker panel they stated because holiday weekend they will try to get someone out after the holidays. Anyway the campground was overall a pleasant stay.

Always good camping at Holmes Bend. I wish they would consider putting in sewer sites. One problem we have experienced the last couple of times we have been there is the large number of skunks living in the main part of the campground. They need to be relocated to another location.

Nice campsite. Was surprised that the day pass is not free for marina parking--campsite hang tag did not exempt my vehicle from getting a notice on the windshield that I owe $5. Would like to see an on-site store. Walking to marina is not pedestrian -friendly in my opinion.

I just love being there its quiet people are so friendly and the water just love swimming on these hot days yhey have a resterant there so if you are tired of cooking the food is great
