One of the friendliest campgrounds I have ever been too. The camp-sights were a little too close to each other however.

We love Holmes Bend. Have been camping there for over 10 years. Really glad to see them adding more water hook-ups to sites. The only drawback to camping here is that there is no park internet service. The park is friendly and feels like home to us. It's just a short drive to Campbellsville where you'll find shopping & several choices for dining. Also, Columbia is just as close in the opposite direction. There's a beach area just down the road from the campground, along with boat dock, store & dining.

We love Holmes bend it isnt our favorite and has been for over 20+ years. The major downside this year was the back loop that is one way only was not enforced or recognized by drivers or bike riders, so many accidents happened and even more were barely avoided. Also several smokers, who for some odd reason, decided to smoke in the bathrooms which is a 1st. Another 1st was the extreme amount of dogs, no problem with them, but walking them to another persons campsite and letting them do their business without cleaning up after them is where I draw the line. I was very happy to see out of the 2 weeks that we stayed the campground was full mostly every weekend reminded me of the 1990s when we camped. Hopefully our future visits the road signs and flow will be more enforced as it always has been previously that is the most concerning to me.
