Kendall Campground in Russell County is located 1 hr 26 min northeast of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 607 feet. There are a total of 112 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the beginning of November. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 35 and 115 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. All sites have electric and water hookups. Prices start at $32.00 per night. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Campsite was fantastic. Large site with plenty of space. Campground and the surrounding area was beautiful and clean. A+ experience!

Nice campground with lots of trees. Although close together feels private due to the trees. Great eating spot with good food on site.

Kendall Campground is the best camping at the Cumberland. Easy access to both the lake, the river, and hatchery creek and the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery make it a perfect place to explore and fish. Staff and volunteers have always been great.

The drain in the men's shower would stop up and flood the entire bath house. They did finally fix it on the day we left. The shower at the annex was nice and dry.

Kendall Campground is well maintained and so beautiful. Love that it is peaceful. Restrooms were clean. This is our go to campground.

One of the best campgrounds. However, The bathhouses were terrible. The largest had one shower out , needing repairs. The back small bathhouse had standing water always as the shower water ran directly into the toilet stall area and you got your shoes or more, wet . The annex bathhouse was in good shape . Dead trees need to be removed.

Just finished a 9 night stay at this campground which is located on the Cumberland River directly below the Wolf Creek Dam so Lake Cumberland is right above us. It is also adjacent to and in walking distance of the Wolf Creek fish hatchery, which is well worth the time to explore and its free. There are several places you can walk down to the river and fish or if you have a boat there are many opportunities in the area. This campground is excellent, the hosts are welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. The bath houses are very clean and have free laundry available. The streets are paved, and the sites are all white gravel, which is extremely clean. We stayed in site 54A which happened to be adjacent to one of the bath houses and laundry, I would highly recommend this site but all the sites are nice. Theres lots to explore in this area and for a meal, dont pass up Pepes Mexican Restaurant in Jamestown, it is by far the best Ive ever had and Im from Texas.

The bathrooms were in sad shape, Showers were broke and leaking, handicap chairs broken.. I've coming here for at last 20 yrs .. It looks like its going Down hill .. The campsite I booked 2 months ago,, the week before our trip was closed, The only one that was available was small, the table was moldy and water logged.... we had to cover the table top and seats. Even with that it was slippery. This was site 040 Hopefully next year will be BETTER !!

We love Kendall Campground. This past reservation found the park in poor condition. Grass was not mowed, showers not working, dump station out of order, picnic tables are broken leaving sharp wood to stick in your skin, broken cross ties & water pressure so low you could barely wash dishes. There are health & safety issues that must be corrected.Campers deserve more than this.

Kendall is our favorite campground!! Campground is always kept up, Friendly environment, friendly staff and we love camping here as often as we can!! Highly recommend staying here!

This is always a top pick for us. Clean and well maintained bath houses. Some great views. Good trails for bicycling with children. The fish hatchery has a stream thats great for fishing with children and also for adults. The kiddos can feed fish as well as take a tour of the wildlife museum. You can rent boats on lake Cumberland which is a very clean lake to swim in. Highly recommended!!!
