The boat ramps had nice pull up docks. I wish they would renovate the playground though! It's very run down.

Large, clean, shaded, mowed, waterfront spot with water and electricity. Right across from bathroom/showers but they were out of order. Same last year. It would be a perfect score if the bathrooms were open.

Nice spot with a long easy entrance from the main road. Nice sized lot, with a small spot to access the water. Water level outside this spot is only a couple feet deep so boat access would be limited to canoes, kayaks, Jon boats etc. Theres decent shade most of the day, Id say 4pm till sundown you are hidden behind some trees. There was a lot of poison ivy all over the shoreline and under a lot of the trees so be cautious if you have kids, dogs or allergic to it. There is a bathhouse within walking distance but I would rather drive to the nice shower houses in the full hookup side which is just down the road.

We picked a site next to a shower house and bathroom, but it was closed. It looked like it was in disrepair. It would have been nice to know upfront that this bathroom was not in service. We would have chosen a different site. Also, there were mulberry trees on our site and that lead to a mess on our 5th wheel, boat and truck. Having those trimmed would have been helpful. We realize that you have had budget cuts and we are appreciative of having a place to camp and fish. Thank you for your service to campers and fishermen.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at site #095. We found the campsite to be very comfortable with all utilities working as expected. We found cell reception to be good and anything we needed could be found at the nearby town of Marion. Special kudos go out to the volunteer groundskeeper Harold, who went above and beyond to make sure our grass was cut, and site was clean. This is a great place to camp, being retired, we appreciate the clean, quiet, and spacious quality of Cottonwood Point and would recommend.

Love camping at Marion Reservoir. So quiet and relaxing.

I really was disappointed about how poorly the grounds were maintained over Mother's Day weekend. The grass was at least 12" high in some spots. There was trash and debris among the campsites we collectively had reserved as a group

very large sites. Good place to walk dogs. Good view of lake. Fishing can be good at times even from bank. People at campground very friendly.

Nice lakeside site. Love the concrete floored, covered picnic table area.Gas, food and shops in nearby Marion.

Cottonwood Point is an excellent campground- one of our two favorite campgrounds. I would give it 5 stars if sites 60 and 61 had water hookups.

Grass needed mowing badly. Bathrooms were not cleaned or restocked with paper. Waste cans at trash drop off site were all overflowing. Map of facilities was out of date because the shower house we thought was close to our campsite was padlocked and not it use. The newer small shower bldgs were further away. The shower small bldg that was closest to us had one door that seemed to be permanently locked and the other door wouldn't lock at all. If there was a camp host/volunteer we never saw them or noticed their presence anywhere.

Pretty nice campsite, you do share a driveway with your neighbor so be mindful of that when reserving this spot. The site is also not very level from side to side and front to back so make sure and have plenty of cribbing to make the camper level, I would say 4-5 inches side to side. Otherwise its a nice spot with decent shade most of the day. Waterfront access to a rocky shoreline. Most of these sites have quite a bit of poison ivy along the lake and under the trees so keep that in mind.

Excellent as always! This location never disappoints! The space between campers is undeniably the best of the best! Couldn't ask for more space in a public location. Trees everywhere!

We like the full utilities water 50 amp and especially sewer hook up. The shelter over the tables are really nice. We enjoy the camp fires also. We also like walking the dog around the park. Very well kept up.

Very nice spot to camp, lots of room. Only issue we had, were people pulling into our spot to bank fish directly in front of us. I realize its public waters but felt strange with 5-6 people walking through our camp site, along the waters edge, that we paid for. Other the. That it was a great stay. Site is not very level from side to side, had to stack three 2x6s on top of each other to level camper from side to side so take plenty of leveling blocks.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
