Great campground and spot. Only disappointment is the fire ring at this site has been damaged and ring needs to be replaced. The nearby restroom has been inoperable for years, sad!

I don't understand how such a nice campground can't have any bathroom facilities open. We were there in July and only 2 were open in the entire campground area. This time, none were open. Might be time to fix up the restrooms that are padlocked shut. It's been quite a few years.

camped out during the week in the fall. Had most of the lake to itself. One bathroom was open by the office on the north side. Peacefull time. camping area was well maintained.

Spot is large, extra parking spot, Great Lake access, and beautiful. Close to road but quiet. It is extremely sloped. We had to park within inches of the water spout to get level WITH leveling blocks. There are 2 large rocks on the spot, we used those for extra support in front of wheels.

Campsite was nice but certainly needs more gravel or rocks on camping pad. Had rain before and during trip. Made for wet muddy site. Playground had same problem with water and mud. Grandkids could not use. Other than that nice place.

They mowed everything up the day after we arrived, looked real nice.

Navigating through the website was reasonably easy once I got the hang of it. The campsite was now crowded and for that reason our stay was a very nice stay.

Cottonwood Point is such an amazing campground. It is one of my absolute favorite places to camp. The sites are such a great size that you can see the reservoir and just relax. Cant wait to camp there again!

We reported a light out in restrooms about 4 years ago. Still not fixed. It is the bathrooms close to boat docks.

Nice site. Leaky water bib. Temp fix with attachment.Fishermen came to site 104. Cleaned fish at water bib leaving entrails and scales. Best that they would clean area afterwards.

I was glad to arrive and not see anyone else in our campsite. We went out on a Sunday and left on a Friday. When your retired you can do that.

We had so much fun! It was the perfect spot for us. Loved that it was right by bathhouse and across the road was the dumpster. It was nice, thank you

This campground is our very favorite place to relax. Peaceful and beautiful. And full hookups is awesome. Site 100 was the only open site when we reserved. It's easily one of our favorite sites here. Great unobstructed views of the lake since the lakeside sites are have so much space between them.

Very clean and well kept

I wish it was easier to make a reservation at sites 95 thru 106. I dont understand the reason for the restricted timing.

We have been going to Marion Lake for several years. I am disappointed how the camping areas have been taken care of. The mowing of the site is not up to par. You never see a ranger and the office area is usually locked.
@StarlaG60FA0DC · Camped on Sep 26, 2025 at Campsite #143
Great level spot next to the water
@MarciaH2761327 · Camped on Sep 26, 2025 at Campsite #115
First off, there is no shade. Next, the site is extremely rocky and slopes off so that we didn't have enough blocks to stabilize the back of the camper! Lastly, there is POISON IVY between the site and the lakeshore! We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but left after 1 very hot day and night. I do not recommend this campsite.
@CarolJea761508 · Camped on Sep 23, 2025 at Campsite #32
We heard the showers were close for 2 years in our area. The roads were very good. The view from our site of the lake was nice and easy to get to the beach. The dump station was easy to get to. The hose was missing end piece.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
