Spot is large, extra parking spot, Great Lake access, and beautiful. Close to road but quiet. It is extremely sloped. We had to park within inches of the water spout to get level WITH leveling blocks. There are 2 large rocks on the spot, we used those for extra support in front of wheels.

Camper park place so unlevel we had to use all 12 of our lifts +two 2x8s and the grass was so tall and full of weeds, had not been mowed probably the worst camping spot weve ever had The only consolation was the weather was great and the thrift store, ETC in Hillsboro and Marion auxiliary thrift stores. Were both really great.

Very nice spot to camp, lots of room. Only issue we had, were people pulling into our spot to bank fish directly in front of us. I realize its public waters but felt strange with 5-6 people walking through our camp site, along the waters edge, that we paid for. Other the. That it was a great stay. Site is not very level from side to side, had to stack three 2x6s on top of each other to level camper from side to side so take plenty of leveling blocks.

Beautiful and peaceful! We loved the view of the lake! Full hook-ups for water, sewer and electric are a definite plus!

For the first time in years, I will have to go to "fair" instead of "excellent" rating. We were camping with grands and spent the whole weekend with local fishermen coming through the campsite and parking in our area to fish. Not only did I need to keep track of the kids from vehicles, but the dog was constantly barking at what he though was intruders. Kinda disappointing when we pay for the site. We love Marion Lake, but that weekend was a bit disappointing.

The camp grounds were clean and spacious! We're coming back soon! Just wish the bathrooms/showers had an exhaust fan. Otherwise PERFECT! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Worst camping experience of my life. Booked this campsite 6 months in advance just to be able to enjoy this site. Actually had booked Fri thru Sun and then extended our stay to Mon. Upon arrival Fri I had to have 2 truck loads of people move out of our campsite. Part of this group returned in a different truck and parked in my campsite again. Guess if they changed trucks they thought they could park in my site. Asked them to leave again. The first group of people drove across the cove and heckled us all evening yelling derogatory statements till well after midnight. Saturday was another day of people parking next to our camper, walking thru our campsite and basically being intrusive and rude. Sunday more of the same. I had booked this campsite months in advance and wished to be left alone to fish and relax without having to share my campsite with 6 different group of intruders. We packed up Sunday morning and headed home even though we had the campsite thru Monday! Totally disgusted with this activity. Had this same campsite reserved for Labor Day weekend. Cancelled that upon arrival home. People need to stay out of other peoples campsites!!!!! Camp host needs to get a handle on this. Toxic situation here. I DO Not like waking up and have strangers and their vehicles in my campsite. Will not tolerate this again.

Had 2 truckloads of people parked in our campsite upon arrival on Friday. Asked them to leave upon which several individuals took offense to that. They left only to return in a different truck and park 10' in front of my camper 30 minutes later. Asked them to leave again. About an hour later 2 individuals came back for the 3rd. time in another vehicle. After dark the individuals I asked to leave the first time parked across the cove on the point and heckled and yelled inflamatory remarks till sometime after midnight. Saturday morning the second group of people that had been asked to leave my campsite returned in a truck and proceeded to walk thru our camp. Told them to leave again. The camp site next to us vacated , about 20 min later another vehicle parked there but the people walked thru our campsite to see if there was room to fish in the cove. We talked to the Park Ranger about this situation. Anyone can fish anywhere they want on the lake but DO NOT have the right to park or walk thru occupied campsites. Common courtisy and respect for others personal space seems to be lacking in some people. Sunday morning another truck parked in front of my camper. Gave up at this point. Told them to move so I could hook up to the trailer and leave. Had the campsite reserved thru Monday but was not going to put up with this constant encroachment everyday. The camp host needs to curtail this toxic situation. People need to stay out of other peoples camp site. The wrong people are going to meet in this situation with high temperatures, alcohol and bad attitudes shortly, and it will end bad. Worst weekend of camping I have ever had in my entire life. We reserved theses sites 6 months in advance because we enjoy them. Had them reserved for laborday weekend too, cancelled that because of this situation.. Worst Camping I Have Ever Experienced!!!!!

Nice clean campground, lots of space between sites. Each site had a nice covered picnic table. Only criticism: we were camping with four other families and two them had difficulty maneuvering into the site because of the way the site was designed. Both of the sites mentioned needed another 90 degree turn once you had backed 90 degrees off the main road.

Like so many ACE campgrounds this one was well equipped. The sites were large and mostly level with gravel pads. Water access was available at many of the sites and the grounds had large mature trees that provided lots of shade. We would stay here again for sure.

There are low hanging dead tree limbs that barely cleared our AC. Also, if you don't put the camper over the parking block, we couldn't open the awning. That was an oversite on our part, but maybe trim that tree up on the side that faces the campers. the 110 outlet didn't work , either. The water was running out of the spigot after last camper left...had to "manuever" the handle to shut off. Did enjoy the new table. thank you.
