Quiet, clean and well maintained campground. We especially like the availability of water and electric hookups for small RVs

If you like to camp in the center of the NASCAR circle, this place is for you! Arriving early from the Happy Valley roads was beautiful, peaceful, isolated. A feel of being one with nature and tranquility. Within minutes of settling in, continuous roars of the adjacent Foothills Pkwy is deafening and extremely disappointing as it overwhelms the entire campground valley. Extreme echoing of motocross/ muscle car parades will drown out all conversations until dusk. Once that drama slows, the park offers several novice areas to hike for the feel that we all head to the park for. Sites were clean, organized, safe, but lack privacy.

Really nice campground that's on the Foothills Parkway. Just minutes from sweeping overlooks of the Smokies and the Tennessee River Valley.

Best campground in the Smokeys. Offers secluded sites and a lot of nature,

We only stayed 1 night, and didn't arrive until almost dark, so we did not get a good look at the campground. It was dark and quiet at night. The whole campground is small, and built into hilly terrain, and therefore, the sites are kind of small and close together. Overall we liked it, but would not want to spend an extended stay there.

Fantastic camping experience!Look Rock Campground is a hidden gem in the Smokies. The sites are clean, well-maintained, and spaced nicely for privacy. The views from the Look Rock Tower are absolutely stunning definitely worth the short hike! The campground is peaceful, quiet at night, and perfect for families or anyone wanting a true mountain getaway. Restrooms were clean, and the rangers were friendly and helpful. Id highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic place to unplug and enjoy nature.

The hosts were great, the campground was beautiful. There is one bathroom, but it was nice. Our only complaint was that we were in site 48 and the text pad is only a few feet away from site 50s tent pad. It worked out fine though.

We had a great camping trip, even though we had some light rain showers. The sites were a little small and close to each other. Our site had an problem with yellow jackets, but being Fall they weren't too bad. Grandkids enjoyed riding their bikes around the loop road, and making hot chocolate & smores over the camp fire at night. Look Rock is a cozy campground, which is a fantastic hidden gem in the mountains. Donna was a very friendly and helpful Camp Host. Will definitely return.

Super nice spot for car camping. The fire pit is right in front of the parking spot you back your car into so you can face the fire and relax. Really clean bathrooms and always had friendly surrounding campers! Have gone back to this spot a few times :)

Loved our campsite. Plenty of room for our tent and a couple hammocks. This campground is lovely. Our dogs loved it too. There were a lot of acorns falling the weekend we were here, so be mindful of that. Short walk to the restrooms. Definitely bring your own hand soap, as there is none provided.

Very nice. Quiet campground. Sites were far enough apart so you didn't feel crowded. Had electricity and paved so it was easy to use. Only issue is you not real convenient to the park itself, but that may have been a little bit of an advantage.

We loved the seclusion. Glad we had an RV so we could shower. Camp host was very nice and welcoming. Motorcycles on the Parkway are very loud, but thats what they do.

Was a very cold and rainy stay and very low visibility. I was not told Id be sharing electric hookups with another site, but that was ok. Just didnt get to see or do much because of the weather and time crunch.

I really enjoyed this campground. I am an amateur radio operator, and I wanted a site positioned on a hill or ridge. Camp sites 1 - 15 ascend the ridge, and the after that the sites descend slowly into a deep valley. I stayed in site 13 and I enjoyed it.The only negative criticism I can offer: the incessant noise of motorcycles climbing the foothills parkway. But I also recognize that parks are for people, not only me.

Great place to really get away from it all. Overall a very quiet camping experience. Cell/wifi is very limited, so be prepared.

Very nice campground, except the guy who ran his generator all day and night and then it appeared that the ranger gave some kind of warning and he shut it off promptly at 8pm and restarted it at 8am.

Beautiful well maintained campground. The only negative is hearing the traffic on the Foothills Parkway.

Our family really likes this campground, its close to where we live. We enjoy walking around the campground and picnic areas. Look Rock tower is a short hike away, be prepared, there are hills! I do wish they had more sites with electricity and they could have made the campsites a little more level. If youre staying in a tent there are no showers in the restrooms.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
