Beautiful and spacious campsites! Lots of room for tents. The sites are decently far from each other, too, so it feels like there is good privacy.I'm not sure why it says 1 car only, because there is plenty of room for at least two cars in the parking spot.There is no cell service anywhere at the campground, which is not surprising. It's pretty remote.

We camped the last weekend of the season. We were happy to get a last minute trip in. From Sandy during work hour traffic it was a 3.5 hour drive. The falls are absolutely stunning. We will deff return!

Love this place- it was worth having the senior discount not applicable and having to drive back out to cell reception to get a campsite. It would be great if the website told us that in advance so we could have planned better. We knew there were plenty of campsites available so we wanted to check them out first and pay at the campground but it all worked out.

My camp site was perfectly clean and attractive. The only improvement to the campground would be to have all the water pumps in operation (one was out of order) and easier to pump.

This campground is amazing, and Upper site 27 exceeded our expectations. The camp is clean, has regular maintenance of vault toilets and trash cans, and there is a hand pump for drinking water. Camp host Chris was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. Site 27 is large, shaded by trees, in earshot of the river, private, with a short walk to the toilets. The camp is surrounded by trails and has easy access to hike to 4 waterfalls along the Lewis River. We will absolutely stay here again.Also, zero service on T-Mobile, which was nice to get to disconnect.

Gorgeous campground with really close access to the Lewis River and waterfalls. This campground was smaller than the other national parks, which we enjoyed, but less private and spaced apart. The hosts were awesome and kind. I only deduct a star because the bathrooms were nearly inhabitable because of the smell. We just peed in the woods most of the time though.

Absolutely love the feel, how secluded it is and even tho the sites are so close, the trees make it feel so much bigger and more private.

Our absolutely FAVORITE park campground. The campground itself is a destination. The lower falls campground has a number of hiking and meandering trails around it with the big to-do being within minutes of the campsite!!! The falls are breathtaking. Both my young teens jumped in to the fridges waters - crystal clear and memorable. The facilities were minimal but with the activities, we never felt we were missing out on any needs. Fresh potable water gave us a source for drinking and food prep and clean up. The restrooms were a bit stinky, but its the usual set up. Now, what makes this place stand out are the natural amenities! So many trail access points and the upper falls river was calm in late August so we could play along the edge and even hike up along the river. We skipped rocks and were mesmerized by the smooth and unique riverbed carved out by the rushing water over centuries. Totally try to stay in the lower falls loop - it has much easier access to the river and you can even hear it as you drift off to sleep at night!

This was our first time here and it was a great experience! You can hop on just about any trail near the river in the campgrounds and follow the river down it will lead you to the falls!

Falls are beautiful, campsites are clean and have plenty of space. Outhouses really smell bad.

Lower Lewis Falls Campground is a beautiful spot to spend a couple of days enjoying the valley and the beauty of the falls. Access was straightforward, the camp hosts were lovely, and we had a nice time. 4 stars because the amount charged for a tent site where the only facilities are a pit toilet was ridiculous. Also the water pump in our loop of the campground was down so we had to hike quite a ways with our water containers to get to the other water pump.

The campsite was easy to find and very clean. Most notably, Christian, the employee who works there, was nice, friendly and very approachable. Additionally, the staff members who worked with him during our visit did a great job maintaining the cleanliness of the place.

It was SO quiet and peaceful here! The sound of the water lulled us to sleep. Very clean! Cant wait to come back and stay longer to explore the area.

I went here with my boyfriend for my birthday trip and it was absolutely breathtaking! Our spot was roomy, came with a picnic table and a fire pit -unfortunately we were unable to use, due to a fire ban- and was secluded from the other campsites. We were a 5 minute walk from the viewpoint of the falls and while getting down to the river is difficult it is totally worth it!

Excellent space to unplug and enjoy the scenic nature and light hiking to see the waterfalls. Highly recommended but come prepared for no showers, pit toilets and no electricity or cell service. I did send a crucial message via satellite so you are not totally isolated.

We stayed in site 3 and loved it. It was very spacious with great buffers between the neighboring sites (cant even see site 1), the downside was that it was a little challenging finding a flat spot for our large tent its 12x15. We ended up putting it near the fire pit, which worked this trip since there was a fire ban and couldnt use it anyway. There are several spots to place a tent but not sure if maybe smaller ones will be less effected by the very slight slope, overall it wouldnt stop us from staying at this site again. Honestly wed be able to stay with multiple tents at pretty much all the sites, theyre all spacious and spread out pretty well! Lots of river access points very close by and even a stroller/wagon friendly boardwalk in one spot that goes all the way to the riverbank above the falls. The bathrooms are what youd expect from vaulted toilets, overall the host kept it clean and stocked it multiple times a day. We keep sanitizer and wipes nearby and toss those in the trash after leaving the bathroom.

Fantastic site, hosts were on point and bathrooms were super clean. Water pump area could get a bit backed up so bring a large container

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
