Love this campground. Most campsites are spacious and secluded. Everyone was quiet during quiet hours. We were in site 28 which was HUGE but we did have a pop up camper and were unable to pull into the site (which upon more reading was stated in the reservation lol). So much room though. Could fit 4-6 tents easily.

There were multiple empty campsites where the people who reserved the site never showed up. There should be a way where if someone doesnt show up the reservation is canceled and someone else can get the site. The campground is too popular to allow empty sites to linger. And it would be nice if the water pump could be fixed on the lower camping loop. Its been out of commission too long.

This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever camped. It was truly serene, safe, and everything you could want for a camping experience. We will be back!

New crew at the campground were doing a great job. Bathrooms were clean and they were using a better grade of TP.

Quiet spot. Beautiful trees, Spectacular waterfalls. Very relaxing. The way down to the falls is steep but there are other ways to get access to the river. It is one of our favorite campsites.

One of my favorite places to camp

There isn't a bad looking campsite in this entire place. Bit of flies in the daytime, but not too bad. Camp hosts do a great job cleaning the bathrooms daily. No connection out here and camp wood is $10 a bundle.

The campground was gorgeous with lots of bird song in the mornings. The pit toilets were clean. We enjoyed hiking to see the three big waterfalls. We noticed that the signs posted around the campground said 12pm check out (rather than 1pm as recreation.gov has it).

The road in is a little bumpy, beware of dips, but otherwis, it was easily accessible. This campsite sits along the Lewis River with river access and trail access. The camp sites are semi-private but trails do back many of them. The bathrooms were very clean. Would recommend and return!

Campground was well taken care of and secluded. The host was knowledgeable and happy to give recommendations in the area.

Site was kept clean. We absolutely love this location for the views of the waterfall with a nice swimming hole. It is difficult to get down to though.

Loved the campsite and how quiet it was! However the water pump was broken, that would have been nice to know before arriving that there wouldnt be water.. bathrooms werent bad, or should I say toilets no showers.

I have to say I love this place! The forest, the waterfall and the campsites are spacious and very nice! So, I was disappointed to arrive at my site to find the previous occupants had left a mess that I thought would have been cleaned up in the 2 hours between check out and check in! Garbage in the firepit, eggshells scattered about, matchsticks everywhere and the picnic table left on an impossible to use slope I had to move so I could use it! Terrible way to start but, I pulled it together and had a fine stay.

Sites and facilities were clean. Great hike to Upper falls

It was a large site with privacy. We got our 20-foot RV and left it attached to the jeep with a few feet to spare. There was also space for an additional vehicle and a large tent area. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and the camp host was friendly. The drinkable water pump can be found on the upper loop. We enjoyed walking down to the water several times a day; unfortunately, you couldn't really hear the water from this particular site. We did the 6ish-mile hike up to the upper falls, which was absolutely gorgeous. The Road to the campground had been recently graveled, so there were no potholes, but most of it was paved.

Beautiful setting and the campsites are large. Felt like a real escape in the woods.

I love this camp ground has good privacy and great trails very family friendly.
@LorraineR28321 · Camped on Jun 15, 2025 at Campsite #43
Sites are more private, campground is nestled in tall trees, well-maintained, and clean. Water is by a hand-pump in the upper loop, but requires quite a bit of muscles and stamina to get much volume. Hiking to all three falls is easy from the campground and magical/spiritual. There is NO cellular service this far in, but we go to enjoy nature.

Had a great weekend here. The campsite is well-maintained.

This spot was perfect for a 2 night trip. Loved hearing the water from our campsite, #18. Spaces were spacious and not too close to one another. The water spigot in our loop was shut down, but its not a far walk to the spigot at the entrance of the upper loop. The falls were stunning and the hike was easy, offering many opportunities to access the water and plenty to admire along the way. Highly recommend!

This is a beautifully maintained and spacious campground. There are well maintained hiking trails, spectacular waterfalls, wildflowers, and swimming holes. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. They even repaired a bent camp trailer jack for me so I didnt have to cut my stay short!!! Lower Falls is now in my top five favorite campgrounds.

Absolutely amazing campsite. We stayed at site 4 and it was very large and tucked away from other sites. A few minute walk to the lower falls and you could hear the waterfalls rushing from the campsite. It was a perfect stay.

Spacious clean sites, my kids loved exploring the site (18) and the trails that lead to the river. Vault toilets are vault toilets, but as clean as they can be and stocked with tp. Looking forward to coming back

This was a beautiful campground. Our site (23) in particular was perfect size for three tents and two cars. The sites were spread apart enough that it felt relatively private, and we couldn't even really hear our neighbors. The falls were gorgeous, and just a short hike from our site.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
