The host was friendly and helpful; the restrooms and sites were very clean.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay here. It's a lovely campsite with a very friendly camp host, but it's in desperate need of some TLC. The picnic table sets are old and most are damaged with peeling paint and splinters, the grills are old and some are missing or broken. They could also do with better signposts on the road - we had to guess that we were in the right place. And Google maps does not have the correct position of the entrance.

small campground with well-stocked pit toilets. the highway is just outside the campgrounds and you can easily hear the cars driving by in the evening and early morning. when the cars arent going by you can hear coyotes howling and owls hooting.

Many sites that are listed as shaded have had trees cut. Unfortunate but of course necessary. Recreation does not have up to date info for the sites. Luckily the weekend we visited was quite empty and the host who was friendly and thoughtful, approached us on arrival offering a better, shaded site. It was much appreciated. Wilderness trail access directly from the campground was excellent. Coyotes are very active so keep your pets close. Temecula is on the way in and easy access for firewood or anything you need to pick up. Being so close to a main road, cars are heard at all times while at the campground. Neighbors in the valley have roosters and dogs that were very noisy. Still was an enjoyable stay.

My experience at Dripping Springs was FANTASTIC! My daughter and I spent the night here and really loved the casualness, the cleanliness, the location under the trees and the epic trails around the campsite. We intend to return when time permits, but I wouldn't hesitate to share that my story was nothing short of PERFECT. Well Done to the Team who manages the grounds.

Sadly I was unable to attend this time around. Rating fair due to previous visits, where several times I've had another party occupying my site when I arrived.

This review only for #16The campsite is quiet and clean, and restroom just cross the street. #16 is flat, able to fit 2 big tents. But there was no trees and shade and looks different then the pics i saw. I saw some abandoned tree stumps I guess they cut down the trees. We have to leave early because there was too hot and with no shades. Overall we love this campsite and will come back for sure!

This campground is nice, it is part of Cleveland National Forest and Agua Tibia Wilderness. Has 2 main trails, good for hiking.

there is a large tree next to the driveway that provides shade and the flattest area to pitch your tent. The bathrooms are directly across the street, making it convenient. The firepit and bench were at the back of the space, up against a small hill below the campsites above, but to the left of yours. it was nice not to have someone directly above looking down. I would recommend this spot again, it's great to have some shade. if #14 had a big shade tree, it would be the best spot in the place, isolated from direct neighbors on either side, and only three to four spots from the bathrooms, but there was zero shade. In light of that, the space we had was fantastic.

Dripping Springs is still Temecula's best kept secret for local camping. The sites have shade and love the water spicket, fire ring, picnic table and handy bbq. Even the outhouses are clean and stocked with toilet paper. For a fun outdoor experience, I recommend Dripping Springs. Just 20 minutes from Town.

Our reserved campsite was a available for us upon arrival.. campsite and grounds were clean and tidy. Pit toilet bathrooms( I don't care at all for) were clean and stocked with paper.I appreciated the numerous water spigots throughout the camp.Thank you for making our experience " memorable"

The campsite is pretty small. So in one spot instead of 4 tents we could only put 3 because of the small space. Also, we had a bad experience with some people camping and having a crazy loud party until 4am and no one was there to control it, we had kids that were sleepless and us too due to this. There are no showers so come prepared for that and the bathrooms are not clean since they are the ones with the hole on the ground. It gets pretty hot during the day not too bad during the night. Come prepared with bug spray!

Camp host was nowhere to be found when checking in. Site description stated back in, but was a pull through. Sites not labeled with occupants dates or names. Loud party happening two sites down from me with a group of people yelling and playing loud music well into the morning hours. Camp host did nothing.

Beautiful and peaceful campground. The campground was fully booked when I was there but this spot was still fairly quiet and peaceful. No shade at spot 15. Slightly slopped. But perfectly close to water & bathroom, while also being tucked away and private.

The site was nice - lots of trees and good shade. We were far enough from the highway that we could barely hear it. The bathrooms are pit toilets with no running water (no sink), but there is water available nearby the campsite. Several birds were out in the morning and it was fun to watch them. We got a good view of the stars at night, but there was some light pollution from Temecula. Overall, it was the experience we were looking for.

This campground was very pretty, and has a great location. You can hear the main road, but it didn't bother me. A lot of of the camp spots barely have enough flat ground to fit one tent. The most spacious with flat tent spots are spots 4, 6, 8, and 7. Seven is a double occupant site. On Friday morning, there were several groups of bros walking to the trailhead at the back of the campground between 5 am and 5:30 am. They were being VERY loud and woke me up whenever they passed. Although I'm glad to hear about their plans to hike "rim-to-rim" and all about their golf game, there should be signs that tell hikers to be quiet and considerate in early hours of the morning.

Nice site and met host who was nice. Bathrooms clean. Would be nice to have some pics of the the sites, because some are super exposed and some have shading and more secluded. Picnic table was warped and almost unusable without resting some rocks under it. Would use DS again but would choose a few other sites below in the shade, knowing that they'd probably have more drive by traffic.

Lovely camp ground , only a 10 minute drive from the shops but you felt completely alone in the camp-ground with limited cell service (a plus for me!). The toilets were clean and the water was running well. One thing that I found odd was that the other campers were quite shy - they seemed confused when I went out of my way to smile at them and say hello just for the sake of being friendly. My friend told me this was not unusual for Riverside County so maybe I was the strange one... Anyway the scenery more than made up for it. At the end of the campsite you can join 2 different trails or you can walk across the road to see the lake (not accessible publicly by car.) Would recommend !

Beautiful campground and well maintained. Used the dumpster at Vail Lake on the way out.

Location works for us visiting family in the area but the campground is in need of refurbishing. The picnic tables are wood and breaking down. The grounds are extremely rustic. There is water available and pit toilets and trash. Thats about it. If thats all you need you will be fine but many of the sites cant accommodate RVs larger than maybe 25 feet.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
