This campground was very pretty, and has a great location. You can hear the main road, but it didn't bother me. A lot of of the camp spots barely have enough flat ground to fit one tent. The most spacious with flat tent spots are spots 4, 6, 8, and 7. Seven is a double occupant site. On Friday morning, there were several groups of bros walking to the trailhead at the back of the campground between 5 am and 5:30 am. They were being VERY loud and woke me up whenever they passed. Although I'm glad to hear about their plans to hike "rim-to-rim" and all about their golf game, there should be signs that tell hikers to be quiet and considerate in early hours of the morning.

Nice campground with a couple of trails right out of the park. Civilization is 15 minutes away. Some road noise.

Site #8. The site was spacious and more private than others. It was a quiet campground with friendly people. The only thing that we didnt really like were the restrooms. There are no sinks in them and after a couple days they started to smell. Considering they werent flush toilets, they werent so bad. However, this wont prevent me from visiting in the future. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to our next visit.

Nice area to be in cooler weather. There are dog friendly hiking trails right out of the campground (possible stream crossing). The frogs are crazy loud :). Some sites have more shade than others so do your research. Pit toilets were kept clean. Saw the camp host several times cruising the campground.

We arrived at Dripping Springs campground after staying at Pechanga Rv park. Talk about culture shock! We loved it!! The trees, the quiet, nature! Its a darling little campground with lots of space between sites and nice hiking trails. We will return for sure!

Extremely clean campground and facilities! You can hear cars passing by on 79 but it isnt loud to the point where you cant sleep. Also love how the campground is connected to the Agua Tibia wilderness. We went first weekend of Feb and everything was green, no bugs. Will be back!

Camped at #8. Near bathroom and trash...for better or worse. Nothing special about the site. Enough trees to find shade in the 100+ temps. Plenty of flat spots to stake out a tent. Labor Day weekend was dreadfully hot. Will go back in the late winter or early spring to hike again. The trails were easy to follow. Quite narrow at points, and sometimes on a steep incline. Wear good hiking shoes. I hope there are actually some dripping springs when I return in the spring.

Site #7 and #8 are good. Bathroom had way too many spider webs and spiders. Other than that, overall good Campground.

Site 8 was perfect. It is a large site with a fair amount of privacy, and located very close to the bathrooms (we were not bothered by any smell). We were only able to book 1 night as the campground was all reserved for Saturday, but someone canceled and we were able to get Site 7 (which is a double site, but paying in person we didn't have to pay the extra fees so the cost was comparable to booking a single site online) on the other side of the bathrooms. That is a huge site with plenty of room for 4 cars + people, tents, etc. We would stay at either site again. Many of the other campsites are very small with little to no privacy. We did 2 hikes during our stay, right from the campground. Both have great views and are not too difficult, but a great workout.

Our site was really well-spaced, the bathrooms were clean, and although we only stayed briefly it was relaxing.

This was our 4th time at this campground. It's a real nice place. Quiet (depending on your neighbors) yet still close enough to civilization for a quick supplies run if you need. We've used a different campsite all 4 times and if you pick 'em right, you'll get a site with a lot of shade and plenty of flat space to set up your tent(s). Some sites have little to no shade nor any flat ground so choose carefully. We usually choose this campground during the colder months since it's open year-round and low enough elevation that it's not too cold in winter. Bathrooms are very well taken care of and are the best-smelling and maintained vault toilets of any campground I've ever been. That's coming from someone who's done 15 camping trips to different parks in the last few years.Be advised that they've been doing bridge construction just before the campground entrance for several months. During our early-November 2021 and mid-February 2022 visits, we've had to wait up to 20 minutes in a mile-long line of cars to cross the bridge into the campground during peak traffic times. It's only one lane each way over the bridge with automated traffic lights guiding traffic. At night and in the morning it's not so bad.

We stayed one night in transit and found this to be a very pleasant and comfortable spot and we would stay again. Barely outside the suburbs of Temecula, it is woodsy with lovely spreading oaks. Saturday night was enjoyably quiet. It would be easy to stock up on supplies in Temecula, including firewood. There seems to be a trail but since we were in transit we didnt try it; we saw hiking groups pass by. The equestrian sites appear to be on an upper level - thats hard to tell from the 2D map. (Early Feb. 2022 there was road construction near the entrance which made it easy to miss.) All in all a good spot.

Very nice people that work there! Great spot to get away for a few days! Campsites are a little small but a few of them are huge you just have to get the right one. We had campsite 8 but it had so much shade it was perfect!

Very helpful and friendly camp host. Beautiful campground and hiking trails. Limited att phone service unless on upper equestrian camp area or if you go to fire station area. Good Verizon service. Plenty of dead and down firewood to gather. Did not notice any annoying noise or loud party people. Very nice.

Even though they only have about 6 or so really good sites, if you get one, it's a great experience. The toilets are vault, but are kept fairly nice. Love the two trails directly accessible from the campground. The Hosts are nice and easy to talk to and get along with. Spring time has a small creek at the base of the trails and borders the north east of the campground. Put food and trash away at night cuz there are definitely raccoons that will peruse any bags and such left out. I enjoy it here. My dog loves it.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
