Site 26 is great, the last time i camped here i was in site 22 which was closed this time but i much prefer 26. You have a great view of the mountains off to the left. you only deal with a neighbor across from you, the next site is seperated by a bathroom. Very peaceful, it is an equestrian stall which i didnt realize when i was booking through the rec.gov app. If/when i come back next will try to get this site again.

Nice site and met host who was nice. Bathrooms clean. Would be nice to have some pics of the the sites, because some are super exposed and some have shading and more secluded. Picnic table was warped and almost unusable without resting some rocks under it. Would use DS again but would choose a few other sites below in the shade, knowing that they'd probably have more drive by traffic.

Lovely camp ground , only a 10 minute drive from the shops but you felt completely alone in the camp-ground with limited cell service (a plus for me!). The toilets were clean and the water was running well. One thing that I found odd was that the other campers were quite shy - they seemed confused when I went out of my way to smile at them and say hello just for the sake of being friendly. My friend told me this was not unusual for Riverside County so maybe I was the strange one... Anyway the scenery more than made up for it. At the end of the campsite you can join 2 different trails or you can walk across the road to see the lake (not accessible publicly by car.) Would recommend !

Nice setting, good sites though no showers, toilets, or hookups. Took a hike this time and was appalled at the horrible signage and lack of signage, and very poorly maintained trail to the springs. Was also appalled at the disgraceful condition of the host's site.

The worst camping experience I have had to date. Whoever the camp host is. Terrible host. It's absolutely horrible. I came up, and it was raining. I was "OFFROAD" so I could unload everything easier. The host drives up immediately, starts yelling at me, and I can't be off the road. I told him I understood I'm simply unloading since all the rain, and he said I don't care. You need to move your car now. Threatening me saying I'll call the police if I didn't. All while YELLING. I had even said 3 words when he started all the yelling. I will never go to this campground.4 hours later. While just finishing eating. After I had moved my car. The man comes back again, saying your vehicle is completely off-road, and I told you this before. You don't move. I'm going to call law enforcement. I told him to call law enforcement because I clearly COMPLETELY OFF ROAD. I also told him he doesn't have to yell at me.He claims he was hard of hearing, and so he speaks loud. If he knew this, then he should have approached differently, but he clearly was yelling because some campers from down the hill were yelling, "Is everything alright. Would NEVER RECOMMEND COMING HERE EVER, not with this host.I've also attached pictures to his 2nd claim after I had moved that I was COMPLETELY OFF ROAD. That Host was a complete asshole. Where I was there was nothing but the black asphalt and some dirt. Then the tree next to me.My area was far away from everyone.the only complaint was from him. I would never go here again.

The grounds, cleanliness, nearby connected and accesibility were all great to top notch. One removed star for some of these sites not really set up properly for a proper tent, specifically the grading. Some sites are significantly slopped where no where to comfortably lay down. The benches and fire rings are there, which is great, but getting a good night's sleep is reduced when you're sleeping on a slope.

My campsite was a lucky choice. I usually shun established campgrounds in favor of wilderness, but since my stay at Dripping Springs was mid-week, and my space was in the equestrian campsite area, I had nobody on two sides, and nobody across the street. Was quiet and peaceful. Had a great, unobstructed view to the Aqua Tibia wilderness. Hiking trail was right there at my campsite. Couple rabbits came at dusk - I put water out for them and the water was gone next morning. This campground is in a good location, close to town, next to wilderness hiking trails. I combined my getaway with a visit to Elim hotsprings, and wine tasting in Temecula Valley.
