Beautiful location! The hosts and managers were great and hospitable. There was some sort of animal ruffling through our campsite at night, but we didn't get a glimpse of what it was.

Space was away from others but near bathroom. The picnic table and fire pit need upgrading

Ive been camping here for decades. It is sad to see that lack of proper funding is causing quick degradation of the trails, campground and beach. The beach has little sand. The roads in the campground need repair. The camp hosts were excellent and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and pleasant. Nearby, the city of Clayton has some great restaurants.

The campsites are well kept and have lots of space, bathrooms are cleaned often. The Manager an his wife drive by often to see if we need firewood. Camp hosts are also very friendly told us some of best hiking and waterfalls. Road to get there was very narrow but lake was beautiful.

The tent campsites had a good amount of space. Bathroom with a shower nearby & they were nice & clean. Park staff were friendly. The area in general is beautiful. Very close to Angel Falls. It was about 20 minutes to Hillside Orchard & 25 minutes to Clayton where there was stores & restaurants. We loved it!

This review pertains to Loop 2. Loop 1 is without electricity, but is a far better choice.The campground sites are WAY too close; it's like camping in a Walmart parking lot. WE booked 3 nights, but left after the second night.

The entrance driveway to our site was so steep and loose that I had to use 4WD to get up it in reverse. Other than that we thought it was a great park.

We stayed on site #71. It was a good site except for the picnic table. The table was very thick wood and stayed wet the whole time. The benches are very thick also and too high to the table, which means unless you have " bird legs" can't sit on it to eat. We were there 9 nights, and I didn't put a tablecloth on it for the 1st several days hoping it would dry but did not. When I did put a tablecloth on it I had to cut enough off to put on the benches to keep our clothes from getting wet when we did try to use it. All the camp hosts were very friendly. The area is very beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

I was not happy with the wood I received for $7. There was only 4 pieces in the bag. I wanted a refund but they only gave me a second bag. This was not the same as one real bag of wood.

Great campground hosts. The area was clean. My campsite was very level. The bathhouse was also very clean.

We live nearby and camp here often. It is a great campground, very well maintained and managed. We really like this #66 site. It is huge, private, and bordered by two creeks

We had a great experience. We came here to be close to Tallulah Gorge and it was a great location to stay. The campsites were very well kept and the restrooms were nice and clean. We loved having the trail so close to our campsite. The campground host were also very kind. Highly recommend!

Rabun Beach Campground is near and dear to my husband's and my heart. We both have been coming here since we were children. My husband was raised in Lakemont, GA. We thought the campground was in good shape, glad to see an added bathroom and shower. The campground hosts were GREAT! We were disappointed that the bathhouse/showers at the beach were gone, but it had been cleaned up and rejuvenated. I think there is a missed opportunity in the large open space between the bathhouse and the camp host site on Side # 2. Why not put some playground equipment there!?!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our site was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting next to the creek while drinking our morning coffee. The bathrooms were extremely clean as well. We enjoyed the scenery at the park and the surrounding area. The quaint town of Clayton is a short drive and a great place to spend an afternoon.

We were in a 40 foot motorhome towing a suburban and were able to snag site 69 which was plenty big. Followed the recommendation for large vehicles or those towing to come in from the west via seed lake road. I recommend disconnect/reconnect the towed vehicle at the big gravel parking lot at Nacoohchee hydro plant on the way in/out. We did make it into the campground entrance but just barely. Loved the campground and as others have mentioned there is no cell signal but was perfect for our getaway. Want to go back and explore the area more.

Nice campground with a waterfall in the campground to hike. Lots of great hiking and waterfalls close by. The town of Clayton is 20 minutes away with excellent restaurants. This was our third trip to Lake Rabun and will be going back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
