One of the cleanest sites I've ever stayed at. The grounds management were extremely nice and they always made sure we didn't need anything. The showers and bathrooms we're damn near spotless. Even with an almost full site, they stayed really clean, which was pleasant. Make sure you bring firewood or get some before turning on the main road which leads to the grounds... If not, it's about 20-25 mins to the house which has tons of wood for sale. (It's by the gas station heading back towards Helen.) We plan on coming back for sure!

Site 51 - first time at this cg. We enjoyed the area and the site. Staff were friendly and super helpful.
We chose this site due to its isolation and privacy in relation to the other sites. Ample space for equipment and enough parking for 3-4 cars if you have visitors.
This site does not have a water spigot due to its remote location in the cg but a public spigot is available by the bathrooms.
Bathrooms are clean and updated with good water pressure and temperature.

There is a small stream that is alongside the site to lull you to sleep and provides a nice cool breeze.
The only caveat to this site is there is a trail (Angel falls) that is close and elevated above this site that is not shown on the cg maps.

Wonderful campground and hosts! Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground...hot shower, too. The water falls on the trails are beautiful! Caught a big 'ole bass out of nearby Tallulah River and cooked it over the campfire that night! We can't wait to go back!

What makes camping at Lake Rabun so great is the natural beauty. Spaces are far enough apart for privacy. For a family, tent camping, I know of no other equal on the east coast. Hike the falls. Swim in the lake, or just hang out. Very nice!
