there needs to be a campground map showing each site. I was unable to reserve on mon or tue but able to reserve for thursday. Your host had no record of my reservation. I wish you were open all year.

Beach is very small and poorly maintained.
Roads in campground are poorly maintained - some portions are nearly impassable due to cracked and broken pavement.
Campsites are difficult to navigate with a camping trailer. In order to leave my campsite to exit the campground, I had to pull up the hill, back into an empty campsite, then exit that campsite to turn down the hill. Had that site not been empty, I don't know what I could have done, since it was impossible to exit my site and turn down the hill.
Reservations are locked once started, and we were unable to modify our 4-day reservation down to 2 days, even though we needed to leave after 2 days. My attempt to cancel after 2 days also failed.
Bottom line, I feel ripped off for two days' fee $50.

We loved the secluded nature of the campground. Our site (63) was covered by trees on three sides, with only the driveway exposed. The site was also neatly kept and convenient to the bathrooms. We hardly heard or saw any other people nearby. The Angel Falls trail and Lake Rabun were within easy walking distance. The hosts, when we saw them, were friendly. I'm giving three stars because of confusion over the exact location of the site. On the app, site 63 actually shows up as being in loop 1 on the map, even though it's in loop two (and the description says loop two). Sites 60-65 are actually not on the actual loop 2, but rather on an offshoot, one way road. Even though our trailer is only 16 feet long, we had a heck of a time getting out of the campsite because there's not much space to turn around. However, we love Lake Rabun and the many things to do around here. Now having more knowledge about the logistics of the campground, we would consider coming back.

right next to the trailhead for panther and angel falls. Clean bathrooms, nice level campsites, great camp hosts.
