Nice campsite, lots of shade, clean facilities. There with a group of friends. We tubed down Deep Creek, enjoyed sitting on the bank and watching other tubers come by.

This is our second camping in Lake Rabun, and we have done multiple camping across different places of Georgia. By far, this is the best place for camping as it provides plenty of activities to do and true wilderness camping experience. While this is the positive side of our experience, we had a terrible experience with the co-host (man voice, we did not see in person). The host (lady) whom we met in the daytime was considerate and approachable, while the co-host was mean and arrogant. There were no RV or tent campers surrounding our camp sites on the day two. Our group included kids as young as 3 years and with kids there is always a bit of sound when they are still not in bed. The camp Co-host came exactly at 10.10PM and reminded us on quite hours that we agreed to. While he was leaving, couple of the kids were playing a game and he heard the sound and he yelled and threatened that if he hears another sound, he will force us to vacate the campground right away. It was extremely rude and unnecessary to say those words to the group. All adults felt extremely bad and had a deep urge to vacate the camp site late in the night. Unfortunately, we did not have any cellular coverage and our maps would not work for the directions back home. Unbelievably, one of us was also into tears for this attitude by the co-host and helplessness situation we were in. There was complete lack of empathy by the person who threatened us. We came to the camp site with the bear warning, but never felt threatened by bears but we were threatened by the co-host for sure. All in all, this will go into our books for a long time to not to consider Lake Rabun for future camping. I hope the managements sees this and will bring positive changes at the least helping future campers to go back with good memories.

We had a wonderful time! The campground was clean, bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the hosts were very nice and friendly. There was even a basketball goal and ball for kids. Great to hike right out of the campground without having to drive anywhere. The lake was beautiful and when warmer would be fun to swim in! It was a great trip and we will definitely be back!

Great little campground in the mountains and with lake access. Quiet, shady, clean.
