Great campground.

I visited in mid-November and the weather was a mixed bag, which was nice. I was not a fan of no lighting in the restrooms, which only provided skylights. During this time of year, daylight hours are limited and the restroom was not somewhere I wanted to be in the dark. Also, the shower situation was nonexistent for tent camping. We had to go into Moab to get that sorted since the shower that is usually available just outside the Visitor Center was closed for the season. On the plus side, our neighbors were really quiet and I really enjoyed being at a campsite where the only sounds you heard were from nature. It might have helped that there was no cellphone service. The rangers and the volunteers are the nicest. They really helped us during our stay with logistics and finding ideal trails. We decided to do a portion of the Chesler Park Loop Trail and I realized I was not as fit as I thought I was. In hindsight, my husband and I agreed that visiting the northern part of the park instead of doing Chesler would have been a better idea for my legs. The smaller trails are very nice and the views are beautiful.

We had an excellent stay at Canyonlands. Very quiet, clean and scenic, of course. The Big Spring trail was phenomenal; thankful for the well maintained cairns to guide us.

One of the best National Park Campgrounds. Clean and beautiful plus the campsites are spread out for a little privacy.

Canyonlands, Needles District, is a desert-hikers dream destination. Its not a drive-through park. The campground, while small is awesome. The park staff are dedicated, friendly, and happy to help.

Volunteers at the park and campground were friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and orderly. And the scenery at Needles is outstanding.

What a beautiful park and unique campground. We really enjoyed our stay here. The campground was quiet, hosts were pleasant, bathrooms clean with access to water/dish cleaning/fish toilets. It was great to be away from the crowds at the other end of the park. It did not disappoint.

Site 17 is a nice, private site with two fairly good sized tent pads. It's very quiet. Only one other site (19) can be heard or seen, but it is pretty far away. You'll have easy access to the Elephant Hill Road/Trailhead so you can get there early and avoid any potential crowding. The only negatives are that the bathroom is also pretty far away and the traffic on the nearby Elephant Hill Road can be a bit busy in the mornings and evenings. Climb up the over-hanging rock for some great sunrise and sunset views.

For those who travel to the remote Needles District, a feast of sights abound. The trail system in this region is a blast to explore. The campground provides easy access to Elephant Hill and the trails to Chesler Park and Druid Arch, as well as the scenic drive, but be prepared for a workout and cairn guidance and route finding. Definitely worth the effort!

Amazing campground! There is direct access to hiking trails or it's a short drive to the Elephant Hill trailhead. The bathrooms are clean and the sites are spacious with nice tent pads.

We stayed in the Needles Campground. It was very quiet and enjoyable. We did some of the scenic drives and a couple small hikes to fit our schedule. The cowboy camp hike was incredible. Seeing the handprints on the rock and learning the cultural importance of the spring was really moving. It was impactful to see two very different time periods of people represented in the same place. It really made history come to live. In addition, the rangers at that visitors center were all very friendly and helpful. They took time to answer our kids questions and also give recommendations and maps for the next leg of our trip as well as swear the kids in as Junior Rangers.

The visitors staff were great. I was disappointed that a lot of the ranger programs were cancelled.

Loved my week here! I stayed at B19. Small amount of shade and very close to the next site, but no one was there the first night so it was fine. Three tent pads available. The bathrooms around the corner had running water and were very well maintained. I loved that you could climb up the rocks around you and watch the sunset! Be sure to take the scenic drive, the end of the road is worth it!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
