One of the best National Park Campgrounds. Clean and beautiful plus the campsites are spread out for a little privacy.

We stayed in the Needles Campground. It was very quiet and enjoyable. We did some of the scenic drives and a couple small hikes to fit our schedule. The cowboy camp hike was incredible. Seeing the handprints on the rock and learning the cultural importance of the spring was really moving. It was impactful to see two very different time periods of people represented in the same place. It really made history come to live. In addition, the rangers at that visitors center were all very friendly and helpful. They took time to answer our kids questions and also give recommendations and maps for the next leg of our trip as well as swear the kids in as Junior Rangers.

Site 22 had a great tent pad with more shade than we thoughtand beautiful sunset views. The bathroom facilities were close and look really new, AND were very well-maintained. Not many sites, so very quiet. Will definitely be back again!

This was a very quiet and relaxed campground. Excellent nearby hiking (be sure to do the short loop right from the campground!) and a very scenic location. Clean campsites and bathrooms. Would absolutely stay again!

I had three nights at this super camp. The location is at the end of the park, very quiet, very clean, every location is designed for comfort, the trail entrance is also nearby, the toilets are very clean, it should be ranked among the top few national parks I have been to. I will miss this super national park giving it five stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Needles District of Canyonlands. Our campsite was great. We were surprised at the quality of the restrooms at the campgrounds and the Visitor Center which had been built since we were there last. We have a number of interactions with NPS rangers and they were all positive. We came to the Needles district to undertake a number of hikes and we loved what we did and saw.

The campsite was perfect, restrooms were clean and the camp hosts Jeff and Wendy were wonderful and extremely helpful. It was also a just short drive to the hike I had planned. So it was a perfect stay!

Wonderful visit in Canyonlands, Needles district. We stayed during the summer and while it wasn't too hot, it was relatively uncrowded. Lots of open campsites in the first-come-first-serve sites in Loop A. Bathrooms were beautiful designed and maintained in Loop B. Great hiking!

We were given misinformation about the availability of water in the Needles that could be filtered for drinking by Ranger Station staff. The Park staff we talked did not suggest they didn't know but told us we should carry water for all the days we would be back there. Turned out there were 3 places to get water, one on day 2 and the other on day 3/4. Make sure you talk to Backcountry Rangers when planning a trip. It appears they are the only ones that will give you accurate information.
