Canyonlands needles district is very beautiful. We stayed at the campground and slept in a tent. Great views of the stars and the bathrooms were very nice.

I loved this campground because the spots were relatively spaced at a good distance from each other. Modern bathroom with a utility sink. This site had a little cave/slot canyon behind it, excellent for little explorers!

Beautiful location. Hiking right from the campground

A campground needs a dump station. A remote park needs much better communications than what the Needles area has.

More than I expected in a good way. Chester Park, Joint Trail to Druid Arch was unbelievable. Such diversity in one hike. Lost Canyon adds another dimension to the park, with part of this hike in the trees.

Good location if you are a hiker, if you are not into hiking there isn't too much else here, and it is in the part of the park that is a bit away from everything else (1 1/2 to 2 hours driving) at Canyonlands, Arches, and Moab. It worked for what I was looking for.

Small campground with clean bathrooms that include a nice outdoor dishwashing station. Several trails depart directly from campground. Great sunrise and sunset views from trail between A and B loops. Sites not crowded. Absolutely delightful.

Very spacious campground near incredible rocks. However, there were no lights in the bathroom. Rangers waited a long time in the morning to open the road to do the Chesler Park hike.

Great spot! Bathrooms minimal but clean. Would LOVED to have stayed more nights in this spot!!
Loved the hikes in this park as well. Ran into the knowledgeable education staff out checking out the critters in the potholes the day after a good rain and learned a lot.

The Needles Campground was very nice with a fair amount of shade - at least in our space. There were several hikes nearby and, of course, the scenery was outstanding. The only draw back in our case was the extreme heat wave that was occurring while we were there.

We had site 26, which was a very nice spot. Only drawback is that it is immediately adjacent to 25B, with literally no privacy between sites. The Park Service needs to either eliminate 25 B or better delineate the sites. WiFi at the Visitor Center worked well.

Takes literally WEEKS to click on the reservation "engine" at just the righ second to get a reservation.

Great campground--close to jeeping and hiking trails. Heated restrooms and warm running water for washing.

Park employees and contractors do a fabulous job--cleaning the restroons first thing every morning, campground host and ranger make daily stops, helpfu ionformattion at visitor center for backcountry roads and trails, and the hNdy Needles Outpost just 15 min away.

Have been coming here for 35 years (life was simpler early-on!) But always a favorite spot.

We made a reservation at Needles District Campground for campsite 026, Loop B. It is a huge and absolut quiet site.... I think the most most beautiful site of our entire trip. The park itself is fantastic, well developed (but not to much :)) with beautiful hikes for everybody. The ranger were really friendly und helpful (as we experienced in all the parks). Many thanks for doing such a great job!
