John F Kennedy Campground in Cleburne County is located 1 hr 11 min northeast of Conway, AR with an elevation of 317 feet. There are a total of 67 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 31 and 80 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 44 sites have electric and water hookups. 23 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $22.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp.

It was good until the last evening. In 29 degree weather, the breaker on the electrical pole went bad. We had no heat for my camper. And apparently you dont March (at least thats what the sign at the entrance said). It made for a very unpleasant last night there. Ive been sick ever since. It was very cold.

Weve been going here for the last five years, and have zero complaints. The park is very well maintained, easy access, great facilities, and just a short drive into town if you need anything.

Beautiful campground. Cell phone reception better than last year. We drove to Mt. View, less than an hour's drive. We hit all the thrift stores in Heber.

The bathrooms need to be cleaned and serviced more often. They frequently ran out of toilet paper.

We spent 5 nights at JFK. Everything about the campground was great. The campground is right next to the Little Red River. Quite a few campsites are on the river. The campsites are spacious. Each site has its own trash cans, which is so convenient. If youre a trout fisherman this is your spot. The river is accessible right from the campground and it is stocked with trout. Dont miss the train museum in Heber Springs. They have an amazing collection of model trains. The owner has trains his father passed on to him, one set is over 100 years old. He has built multiple train layouts throughout the building. One layout accommodates 18 operators at once. This is a must see. For restaurants Peggy Sues has breakfast and lunch, Angies Hideaway for any meal, and Macks Fish House for catfish and steaks. Cant go wrong with any of the three. I highly recommend JFK campground.

Beautiful place this time of year. Lots of people out fishing on the river. The hatchery and the trails were fun to do. There are a couple of local area restaurants if you dont feel like cooking, but apparently Dominos will deliver pizza to your campsite here. I spotted their delivery vehicle a few times.

It was a perfect week for camping. The trees were beautiful and the fishing was excellent. Love this campground.

Its a great spot to camp in. Water and electricity are provided there. Nice fire pit and easy to use for cooking.

Live about an hour away and this area is my go to spot. The trout fishing is amazing. Already have several more trips planned.

We visit frequently to trout fish mainly, but its such a quiet place even if we didnt fish Everyone is friendly Many of us have dogs, and we respect each others boundaries We were there for Halloween, and a group brought our dog, a doggie treat
