Its always so lovely going. I wish your website were a bit moreInformative about which sites have water. But the people working there were wonderfulAnd so very helpful!

We had a spot for a week in area "N". Very large spots with plenty of room. We like to hike and there is a great walking trail close to the camping spots. There is also plenty of areas to ride your e bikes.

Our water side site was double booked, and we were sent to another site. The site was fine, but we would not have even went if a water side was not available. I was told to request a refund on the app, but I can't find how to do that.

Nice wide campsites, with several loops having water as well. Sites were shaded. Some of the primitive loops seemed to be set up for group camping but for whatever reason the 2nd parking pad on some sites within that loop had boulders blocking them. The shower houses could use some work, I think on one of them out of the 4 stalls on one side, each one was completely different; some had partitions between the shower area and the rest of the room, some had none, some had doors that looked as if they'd been damaged at some point and the door frame patched back together. The beach was also strange; it's like a very very wide boat ramp (slopes down at a 45 degree angle into the water) with a floating divider and sand. The visitor center at the dam also has no gift shop, so you have to buy stuff either at the marina or elsewhere in town.

The bath houses need some updating. There are no handles inside the bath rooms to pull the door and lock it. Many of the doors have the door in need of repair. The shower controls on several of the showers have very short timers. One of the doors barely locks. They were clean but need repair

We enjoyed the park for a week. Very quiet and peaceful. Did some Kayaking right down the hill at the boat ramp, pretty bluffs around the bend and clear waters.Enjoyed the gravel hiking trails. A bit to hilly for me with a regular bicycle to do much riding.Collins Creek very beautiful easy hike just across dam by JFK park and has water all yr.Just a few miles to Walmarts and all your needs.Need to knows, was disappointed about the Great lake views from site. Nope just trees across the way or another camper. Maybe dead of winter when all the leaves fall you can get a glimpse.Other is even though it's listed as a very long site the slope of the drive way is very steep by the road.I was in a 43 ft MH and had to get the front wheels off the ground to level. Not complaining about these two things just wanted to inform someone else about it. 30ft campers would probable be fine.The sites on the water side are much more level. Would stay again in a different site.

Great wide spaces set in the Pines. Quiet. Really a pleasant experience. We travel each December to S. Texas, then home for Spring, Colorado for the summer. We have stayed overnight in some 'shady' RV Parks. We enjoyed this experience so much we now are scheduling all our Overnights at Recreation. gov. In fact, we now are looking to stay 2 nights in each location not just overnight. Thanks so much.

It was a great experience! Loved camping without being harassed by park rangers. It made the experience more like camping in a wilderness area instead of feeling like Im camping in a city with dos and donts .

We LOVED our spot! It was quiet, close to the water, and private. We had everything we wanted. We saw some different wildlife. Definitely will be returning!

Been going here 1-2 times a year and every now and then 3 times a year for the past 30 plus years our spring trip we will be 4 generations deep going. Not sure I would pick any other place around heber to stay . The only problem we have ever experienced is people and their dogs barking half the night . Which I understand its a public place. But we as a family think there should be some kind of noise ordinance on pets. But we enjoy it so much there. We recommend it to a lot of folks every year.

As usual we had a very relaxing time. The park staff were helpful and friendly. This is one of our favorite campgrounds to visit.

We loved this lot. It is a beautiful and scenic location right by the water. It felt like a piece of the land was all ours. My only complaint was that the electric box was not working. We lucked out because no one was in the lot beside us and we were able to connect to their box.

1st time at this camp site and I must say I enjoyed it and can't wait to go again in the future! J15 will not be my lot though I slept on a slope.

There were park employees driving around, targeting and harassing our group. We felt out of place and uncomfortable.
@NancyR3491744 · Camped on Sep 19, 2025 at Campsite #M10
We always love camping at this park! Its usually fairly quiet! Only thing I wish is that they had more sites with water hookups and had sewer at each site!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
