Dam Site Campground in Cleburne County is located 1 hr 9 min northeast of Conway, AR with an elevation of 489 feet. There are a total of 211 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 29 and 120 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 40 sites have electric and water hookups. 91 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include dump station, boat ramp, swimming, marina, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Great check-in experience, nice park, really BAD bathrooms. They need a major upgrade and cleaning, plus better lighting.

I love this campground . I grew up coming here as a kid every summer . It was best memories of my childhood . Now I get to bring my grandkids here . It is always a nice place to visit . I love the waterfalls near by and a hike up sugar loaf I'd always a must .

The lady at the desk at check-in was so sweet! She was shocked I waited until 5 to check-in! The area was so clean, calm, relaxing, and perfect for us! We enjoyed staying at the Dam! :)

Showers were filthy! We have been visiting same area for years and never experienced anything worse than this!

When booking the site online, the photo showed no trees at the pad entrance. We pulled in and noticed there were trees all around the pad and a giant boulder in front which made it very difficult to get our 35 ft trailer in. Very unhappy and felt misled.

I first came to this park as a child. That was over 50 years ago! Unfortunately there are many areas that have not seen much in the way of maintenance and improvement. Only two of the camp areas have water and electricity. This park has sooooo many campsites that in addition to not having water or electricity; have fallen into disrepair with old broken and uneven concrete picnic tables, overgrown grass, weeds and fallen limbs. Many of the bathrooms are dated and they need a few more shower facilities. It hurts to see so much potential and so little improvement. If the rest of the park was like areas M & N it would be great! This is a park hundreds of more people could enjoy if the improvements were made. This seems to be a trend in the Corp of Engineer parks that we have in Arkansas. I wish they would lease them to the State Park Service to manage, improve and maintain. There is a nice swim beach, but be prepared to walk a bit from the parking lot and maybe consider a way to transport your chairs, coolers, etc. I still love this place, but sure wish they would show it some well deserved TLC!

We had a wonderful time camping. it was easy to access the water, close to town while maintaining an outdoorsman's atmosphere, and public showers and bathrooms were cleaned every morning. Trip could not have gone better

H20. Very unlevel drive for any tv. Very Small tent area. Full of rocks and roots. Picnic area just mud. No gravel. Floods when it rains. Flooded our tent. Beautiful view if you could see thru trees. This site definetly needs some work by park. Shower building has no ventilation at all. So hot you sweat while showering. Floor flooded in shower. Nasty. Shower building needs improvement. Lake is beautiful. Check in very friendly.

Great area, enjoyed camping there. The only problem i had was the 110 outlet wasn't working. Which i needed for some other stuff. I didn't have a outlet on my rig so nothing I could do.

Damsite campground is a very clean, and quiet campground overall. The hosts were very friendly, and helpful.
