Nice wide campsites, with several loops having water as well. Sites were shaded. Some of the primitive loops seemed to be set up for group camping but for whatever reason the 2nd parking pad on some sites within that loop had boulders blocking them. The shower houses could use some work, I think on one of them out of the 4 stalls on one side, each one was completely different; some had partitions between the shower area and the rest of the room, some had none, some had doors that looked as if they'd been damaged at some point and the door frame patched back together. The beach was also strange; it's like a very very wide boat ramp (slopes down at a 45 degree angle into the water) with a floating divider and sand. The visitor center at the dam also has no gift shop, so you have to buy stuff either at the marina or elsewhere in town.

The campsite was perfect, and really quiet at night. I stay here about twice a year and it is always a nice visit.

This is an amazing large and beautiful park that is heavily used. No crowding around our campsite but the swim beach was insane on Sunday. Main complaint is the rest rooms/bath houses are not well kept at all. Truly most of them need replacing but could at least be kept cleaner and have TP in them. Also, with physical limitations it's a HIKE to the swim beaches, even though there are paved spots that if not gated could make it easier to access for those with walking difficulties.

The trash cans are a walk away. The shower has no place to hang your clothes. There is no dry place to stand to get dressed. I put my clothes in the sink and used a plastic bag on the floor for my pants legs to keep dry as I put them on.

Lovely park with lots of trails in and around the park.

The park was clean, restrooms were clean. Sites were big, and mostly level. Quiet hours need to be enforced.

All the sites are beautiful and well maintained. There is space between the sites so you do not feel as if you or the neighbor are in each other's space. I had a very relaxing couple days.

My only complaint is the showers. There was either no hook for my towel and clothes or one in the shower stall where things got wet which defeats the purpose of having a hook.
