Always a great stay at JFK. Power blinked a few times which hasnt happened to us in D loop before and it was only March but it stayed on.

We enjoyed ourselves; the only thing was people leaving their dogs tied out while they leave and go somewhere. The dogs bark nonstop for 2 hours straight. thanks, and we will be back.

While we normally stay in section A for the cool breeze off the river, we stayed in section D this time on higher ground as a last(ish) minute trip and it was available the entire time. I think maybe since its the VERY last campsite (D18) and butts up to the woods there more room for critters. The 1st of 4 nights was AMAZING. The next 3, not so much as every night we were terrorized by a group of 3 massive raccoons and a tag along cat. Literally I think he thought they were all family. They opened our clasped closed with latches totes and were slapping our tent.all night long. Im talking zero sleep because of those little trolls. Probably wouldnt bother people in campers and I absolutely know theyre just nocturnal little bears living their best life, but id recommend staying in sections A-C. Still a great camp ground with nice enough facilities and would for sure go back!!

I am a "repeat-attender" to the JFK Park for many reasons, but not limited to the well-organized, neat, accommodating campsites and facilities, Along with all that there is all the gorgeous beauty of the Little Red River which also allows for some great trout fishing, kayaking, and such, and the opportunity to hike along the shady banks of Collins Creek to the series of waterfalls at its main water source which l believe is discharged from the nearby trout fish hatchery, which is also a must-see while visiting the JFK Park.

Nice quite private site. Not a lot of shade midday in the summer.

We had a private path to the river. We took our chairs and enjoyed watching the beautiful water. The site was private and clean.

Enjoyed the laid back relaxation of being able to do nothing in a peaceful atmosphere or go on leisurely hike to see the waterfalls and enjoy the excellent trout fishing all at one campground

Peaceful, quite, and nature all around with activities such as hiking, fishing, or visiting the JFK memorial site.

No showers on the A loop and the sites are directly roadside of the main entrance with no barrier in between.

Loved it here! So many friendly people. Nice hiking, fishing and canoeing! Some sites have no water which was our case. There is a water source not far off. Restrooms were clean and hotter shower than other government campgrounds we had been to!

Beautiful, clean, and peaceful campground on The Little Red. Pads are mostly level. Hosts all seem pleasant and helpful. The only thing that should be addressed is that there is little to no cell/internet service. I know we dont go camping to stay on the web, but in this day and age, theres times, no matter where you are, you need internet service. Other than that, we love it and go a lot.
