One of my favorite campgrounds in the Sierras. Nice to have the creek right next to the campsite. Take a walk to the upper falls and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Great site! Definitely a rough road to drive in on, I recommend 4wd. But a beautiful and peaceful campground!

Had a blast

Great campground. A lot quieter than being in the valley. Road was only a little rough - friends were able to do it in their Prius. The creek was low in August, so might be best to just have enough water with you. Another area of the creek was higher but the water didn't seem to be moving much. No cell service in the campground - there are a few spots on the road out

This campground is billed as tents only but since its not enforced its just like any old campground with lots of RVs. One RV near us had some light shining into our tent until very late. Our site was filled with lots of small trash on the ground when we arrived. Also, the drive from the main road was tedious. Its fine for a Prius or an RV but if youre looking to stay a couple of days and hike around, youre gonna spend an extra 30 to 60 minutes driving in a car each day compared to staying at White Wolf or Porcupine Flats. The rock formations right next to our campsite were amazing. A small creek wiggled through the granite slabs and drops. Beautiful place to watch for shooting stars after dark. This C+ campgrounds could easily be an A- if someone was like lets have one campground for just tents

It was so easy and quiet- perfect.

Campsite is nice, but 25 minute dirt road to get in or out.

Overall, the campsite was fine. The only negative is some people in the morning who dont know how to make a fire and all it makes tons of smoke. The biggest concern I have is that theyre working on the road that leads into this campground. Unfortunately, theyre starting to fix it up. On the areas of the road that are paved theyre unsafe because some young people were driving way too fast for such a road. They should either not pave the road or put in speed bumps or give traffic tickets to people who drive dangerously like that.

Very quaint campsite with convenient access to restrooms and trash cans. There is no running water so you have to bring in your own. Also, the road down into the campsite is at least a mile and a half, and is half paved and half unpaved. Lots of potholes on the way into the campgrounds. Its a good idea to bring a truck, or a car with four wheel drive; although, we saw campers making it down in smaller cars just fine.

Lovely campground- a bit off to the main road, but quite and peaceful.
@MauriceRCCC619 · Camped on Jul 21, 2025 at Campsite #31
There are also campsites far from the reception, even better and wilder. I recommend hiking to the waterfalls of the Yosemite River, with an arrival at the top of the valley, exceptional.
@MarjaM102FDCBC · Camped on Jul 20, 2025 at Campsite #22
The campsite itselves is fine but the 4.7 miles of dirt road to the campground was bad. Rocky, holes, bumpy, you name it. It was hard on the car. Wouldnt camp there again unless I had to
@UrsLCFEC7FC473 · Camped on Jul 15, 2025 at Campsite #68
Lots of mosquittos at our site. The access road is painful.

Decent campground, vault toilets were well stocked with TP and relatively clean. Quiet at night. We enjoyed our 13 mile roundtrip hike to the top of Yosemite Falls.

I enjoyed the campground location off the beaten path
@CameronC666212 · Camped on Jul 10, 2025 at Campsite #39
No shade, bear can located far from site + picnic table, no fire ring, driveway into campground is directly in front of site- so vehicle lights shine straight into tents etc.. Site is also very poorly delineated leaving you wondering where your grounds are.

Great campground! Clean and well kept. Beautiful. Definitely a drive down a rough road but totally worth it!!!
@MiguelF39B438B · Camped on Jul 9, 2025 at Campsite #75
The reserved lot was worth the bumpy drive to the Camping site. Was located in a col- de-sac and had a toilet right across. Private, plenty of space for tent setup, fire camp and the kids to play around.
@JavierC140D0D1 · Camped on Jul 8, 2025 at Campsite #70
It was the most beautiful campground right next to the creek and we both fell asleep listening to it while we were there. Highly recommend.
@BrandonCC6BFB9 · Camped on Jul 7, 2025 at Campsite #25
Very nice campsite well maintained. Take caution on the road in . The road is only wide enough for one vehicle with much of it unpaved. Definitely worth the visit!!.

The good,Quite campsiteNot crowdedCreek runs through the campgroundsThe badNo potable water, must filter creek water or bring your own the road down to the campsite is terrible and can wreck your car
@Margarita9F334 · Camped on Jul 6, 2025 at Campsite #9
Loved our experience , we had campsite #9 shade is perfect the river is a good walking distance and so are the restrooms , just be careful when driving in and out its a one way road and some cars can be going pretty fast but other than that enjoyed it.
@DanI3356397330 · Camped on Jul 6, 2025 at Campsite #2
Number at camp was not visible from road . Great otherwise.
@SandyR2440123 · Camped on Jul 5, 2025 at Campsite #62
Great remote campground! Some reviews said the drive from the main road to the campground was rough but we saw everything from trucks, to Honda Fits, to minivans, to Teslas! Just take your time.
@AbrahamG6DF2D7 · Camped on Jul 4, 2025 at Campsite #64
Amazing campground, it feels secluded and separated from all the crowds that might stayed in the main valley. Spaces are big enough to accommodate 6 adults easily and they separated enough not to be too close to your neighborsJust have in consideration camp its over an hour drive from Yosemite village, and the entrance road its gravel for about 3/4 miles, so its recommended to bring a high clearance vehicle (even though doesnt need to be 4wd)

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
