Toilet house was out of order. But they placed mobile toilet next to the building

No water and restrooms, which wasn't a big problem for me as I had a truck camper. The spots were not very level and lots of trees to navigate. Great location, though, especially if they open up the lodge again.

Great time! So happy that it finally opened! Will stay there again next year.

The campground was nice and quiet. The portable toilets were plentiful

Site was too small and too close to other sites.

Excellent camping ground in beautiful nature and close to main hiking paths of Yosemite national park.

I was grateful for a place to stay for the night, beyond this it was an awful campsite. The site was marked at the road but with no area to park, the terrain rose up with boulders to the campsite. There was no vaguely flat area amongst the boulders to pitch the small tent. The only spot for the picnic table and food storage locker was slanted and so close to the neighboring site we had to hear every word of their conversation and music late into the night. Yosemite can do so much better.

I was in #35 but there was limited parking and someone else took my parking spot. I parked in the parking for #36 but that caused problems for the people who reserved that campsite. They were nice enough not to wake me up when they arrived late. They squeezed in next to me and I left at dawn to get out of their way. There was no host or NP employees who were at the campground or made rounds to the campground. The campground was very pretty with water near it but very poorly managed. It was a Friday of a holiday weekend; so, that made matters worse. Yosemite National Park was obviously understaffed. A sad situation. Also, campsite 35 should not exist because it does not really have adequate parking. The small parking spot is really slanted and has big protruding boulders.

Site 46 is quite small so be prepared to be right on top of your neighbors. They are doing the best they can with the campground, but the porta potties were unpleasantly full by the time the weekend was over. I do appreciate that they have hand washing stations. The road through the campground is more pothole than pavement. Overall I'm glad it's open so there's another camping option in the area, but I hope they can get to a more permanent bathroom solution (pit toilets would be preferable over porta potties imho) - even if they have to reduce the number of campsites.

We choose white wolf because there was a bus stop in front of the campground. When we arrived at White wolf we discovered that the bus only comes at the time that you made on a reservation. Except, you cannot make a reservation when you arrive, there is not only no water (we knew and we were prepared, so no problem) there is also no possibility to contact the bus service for the reservation. So we still had to take our RV up to the national park. That we would like to avoid. So if you' re going to white wolf: make the busreservation in front of you' re visit.

No water this summer due to known water pipe issues, and consequently all the bathrooms were shut down, but numerous portable toilets with wash stations were provided as substitutes. Campsite I had (campsite #27) was nice and had plenty of shade, though my 11x9 tent just fit barely and the campsite benches are worn with warped planks for the table surface that warrants replacing in the near future. Parking two sedans at the campsite was a challenge as it does not have a large driveway. This meant one car having to be parked at an angle, close to the firepit, in order to get the second car to fit into the driveway.

I like White Wolf. Very good campground because of its location - close to my favorite hikes. The only problem of this season was missing water...

Awesome

Space was listed for 25 foot motorhome. These was no way to fit that in. It was on the side a a drop off. Absolutely positively no way to fit. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card to get my money back.

No running water though water in nearby creeks to filter. Some of the campsites seem in rather poor condition; ours was nice. Very quiet, well-behaved campers. Very quiet. Porta-potties were clean and plentiful.

Nice campground layout and grounds. Close to many destinations.

My first time at his camp. Great location near Tioga road. Our site is one of the best with trees and shadow, but still feels a bit too close to a neighbor one, so you depend on your fellow neighbors to keep quiet. Portable toilets are not super-clean but reasonable, and I wish they had regular toilets open. Overall it's great, I'll be visiting again.

White Wolf campground is in a great spot as a base camp for the popular destination of Cloud's Rest hike. You would still need to drive a ways to the trailhead though. Straight from White Wolf campground you could hike into the wilderness, which I did on a lesser known hike to Aspen Valley. There was literally no one on the trail but me! It was fantastic. The campground itself of White Wolf is nice and spacious. A ranger came around checking to be sure I was the person who reserved the site. I went to bed early no problem, there was no music blaring from my neighbors to keep me up. White Wolf is my favorite campground.

Our campsite was as beautiful as I remembered it to be. All of our neighboring campers were respectful and quiet. It was peaceful and extremely enjoyable. No potable water wasn't a problem since we planned ahead. The portable potties were plentiful and kept clean, no smell and emptied every day. Lots of hand washing stations too. I'm already planning our next stay!

Beautiful area. Close enough to Yosemite Valley to be convenient without being overly busy. Even though the bathrooms were closed, the port-a-potties outside were incredibly clean and even had hand washing stations outside.

The best! Quiet and Calm

We were looking for a campsite close to the valley for one night before we had our reservation in upper pines. Easily accessible but minimal facilities (only port a potty's). Site was clean and well maintained and would definitely recommend staying here if the location works for you. Tenaya lake is only 20 min away which is great to get there before the crowd does

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
