Nice campground to use as a base for Glacier Point Rd hikes and excursions. Campground was well maintained and I appreciated the hosts checking for reservations at the gate. Minus one star for the men's toilet block in Loop C (only one stall for dozens of campers), the rather loud group campsite that was plopped in a central location, and the hoards of yellow jackets in the afternoon (cooking without meat seemed to help at meal time). But all of these are the usual car camping issues that you'd expect anywhere. Overall a good place to stay.

The campsite in my opinion is perfectly place between the Yosemite valley and Glacier Point. I mention Glacier point because we decided to visit again at 9pm to stargaze and it was amazing . Once we were done Bridalveil was just a 20 minute drive. On another note I recommend to bring buckets to carry water back and forth to the campsite to was dishes for hands. I plan to bring three in order to have clean water, soapy water and rinse water. Also be aware of the hornets nests, we had one in each of outlet sites and it wasnt such a happy moment when we accidentally bumped into them. As we cooked they visited so I suggest to have a dish of sweet food on the side to attract them away from your group. I would also like to suggest to visitors to honor the quiet hours and keep your laughter and loud discussions down after hours. Some people do get up early in order to go hiking and would like to sleep. The rangers are very helpful and are greatly appreciated! Dont forget to stargaze!!!

Location of campsite is great for day hikings. Shady site and quiet. You can choose anytime to visit Glacier Point from there.

It's convenient to Glacier Point, which gives us a beautiful view of the high country and the Valley below. Had to remember to take a flashlight to the restroom as there is no electricity. Nice to have flush toilets though, and clean drinking water available. Able to obtain lots of firewood from downed tree branches using a hand saw. Met some nice people. Pretty chilly the first night, but better the second night. This was the only place I could get a reservation for, but there were a lot of vacant sites, so that wasn't a problem. Campground was clean and campsites well marked.

I loved this campground. It is quiet. You can see the stars so well. This campsite is spacious with a good distance from neighbors. The bathroom is across the way but not too close really. The campground host is really great full of information about the area.

Very nice established and older campground.

Park rangers were exceedingly nice and helpful. Temperature was quite cold in the night and early morning, but that's OK given the elevation. Beautiful night sky though. We were just disappointed that no bears showed up!

Only campground available, but turned out to be just fine

Site 69 was awesome, very private. Bear boxes do not fit tall coolers. Gets chilly at night/early morning so come prepared.

we really enjoyed our stay at bridalveil campground. the remoteness and serenity paired well with our day trips to the valley floor. watching the full moon rise over our campfire each night was an unexpected bonus. 5 stars

Nice campgrounds. About an hour drive to the Yosemite valley. Spaces are close together but it was quiet from 9pm. Be sure to drive to the end of the road at sunset for amazing views.

No lights in any of the out dated bathrooms! Thought they might have been upgraded during the two years that the campground was closed.

Beautiful place to camp from your car.

I don't know why this campground fills up so much slower than others - it's the nicest of the non-valley campgrounds I've been to. At the sites were pretty and spacious - mine was particularly private. Nice camp hosts and NP personnel. I wish this one stayed open past labor day - I tried to get one most stay here this season, but ran out of time.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
