This was a super nice campground. I was a little nervous as we were driving in because a lot of the nearby forest has burned in recent years, but the campground is well forested and we had lots of shade. Our site was spacious and had a view overlooking the river, but not water access, which was nice because the McKenzie flows fast through this area. The picnic table had good shade and was nicely level. The fire pit was ready to use.The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper and soap. They have flush toilets and running water.

Clean, quiet campground with excellent camp hosts who were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Site #47 had a peak of the river. Plenty of room at this site.

This is a great campground. Its not too busy and is right next to the river and the Mackenzie River Trail.

Very clean, quiet campground with extremely knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Site #45 has room for one bigger tent and two smaller ones. No view of water, although you can hear the river.

Amazing views of the McKenzie River and plenty of trails within a couple of miles. Must hike the Blue Pool trail and waterfall trails. Pit toilets for half of the campground FYI.

Excellent campground and campsites in forest with old growth trees... so beautiful.. Our campsite #3 was decent.. Great private place for a tent close to the river but you couldn't see it from your tent, but you could definitely hear it which was fantastic. The area with the picnic table and fire ring was not private though but it didn't bother us. One odd thing though is that the bathroom that we used did not have any lights. It was always nice and clean though just be aware if going to the bathroom that you need to take a flashlight if it is dark.

This campground is always beautiful. The riverside is beautiful and even the interior sites are all very nice with a small creek along many. The Camp Hosts Cam & Rich are a major part of why this location is worth staying in! They are always helpful and keep the campground exceptionally clean. The restrooms are very well maintained with plenty of TP. So many places I have stayed do not maintain the camp in nearly the condition as at Paradise. Major kudos to Cam & Rich for their hard work!

Beautiful campground. Many spots along the river. Close to many area waterfalls and hiking. Our site, 63, was in the trees and had plenty of room for our class A 32 Ft motorhome. Would go here again!

Really enjoyed this nice, quiet campground. We stayed a site 47 and were by the river but didn't really have river access. We were also near a bathroom but it was a bathroom with only vault toilets. The flush toilet bathroom was on the other loop. Would definitely consider camping here again!

The campsite was recently thinned of vegetation and there was a lot of debris on the ground.

Paradise campground was beautiful! The camp host was most helpful and our site was beautifully prepared.
@MichaelD638E6A · Camped on May 11, 2025 at Campsite #45
Beautiful sites, with the sound of the river audible in most sites. Not really setup for large RV's or trailers. Lots or pull through loops. The hosts are great, out and about frequently. Campfires are usually not allowed during the summer fire season. Take a raft trip on the McKenzie River, hike to Blue Pool, go see Sahalie and Kooska Falls. Drive the Scenic Highway to Sisters.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
