This is a beautiful campground with many sites along the river. It's great to be able to access the McKenzie River trail directly from the campground without having to move your vehicle. Facilities include two restrooms with running water (but no showers) and a couple other strategically-placed vault toilets. It's particularly nice during the fall when you may catch leaves turning as you travel along the McKenzie Highway or over the Old McKenzie Pass. Nearby Belknap Springs is very worth a visit.

The camp is well run and quite clean. Beware of falling dead limbs from overhead trees in some sites.

I had booked this particular spot for sentimental reasons, but was contacted the day of that I would need to move because other people were at the site I booked. I decided not to go because I couldnt be at the site I chose. Very disappointed.

September the river was slow enough to walk right into from edge of campsite. Mostly shade for the day. Had to chase the sun for solar. Close to site 55 but could not see site 53. Farthest from restroom, but water right beside. Pretty level for a pull through, far from picnic table and very little space for side tent or awning setup on the side of any trailer. Enjoyed walking into the river to fish. Excellent camp hosts. Clean.

Nice location if you want shady, on the river but up off the edge. Very close to toilets, easy to share with a friend. Roomy pull through drive, pretty level. Expensive for one, but this is a double site.

We have made Paradise Campground an annual event because it is just, well, paradise! We hike the McKenzie trail or go up to Clear Lake or just enjoy the riverside campsite.

We had a four day reservation at Paradise Campground in number 62. Weve never been there before when we got there. There was six piles of cut logs with black plastic all over them surrounding our campsite. There were lots of empty campsite so we wanted to move and there was a lot of first come first serve places open. However, the host would not let us move and told us we had to pay again if we wanted to move. So we left we have no intention of renting from this place ever again and it was ridiculous that they did not have the ability to change our site because there was so many empty sites.

We love Paradise Campground, have stayed many times, the McKenzie River is wonderful to gaze upon and listen to as you fall asleep at night. The camp hosts are lovely, helpful, and wood is available to purchase for campfire in the metal pit at each site.

My family and I had a fantastic time at Paradise Campground. Great price and very well kept. There were plenty of bathrooms and even more spigots. We discovered lots of great sites right along the river with easy access and calmer water. Looking forward to our next camping trip.

I hiked in from the McKenzie river trail and was surprised that it wasn't too far of a walk to the west end of the campground. It was cute! The ground was a bit tricky in terms of inserting my tent stakes. It was pretty hard ground. I used a rock. It was great, but I couldn't find a garbage bin! Maybe I missed it. The water spouts had nice cold water and a good flow rate! Other than that, I tried calling the campground attendant using the number on this website, but I couldn't reach anyone. It just redirected me to this same website.

This campground was awesome! We spent the 2 days prior backpacking the McKenzie River Trail and ended our 3rd day here. It was right on the river, which was beautiful! Rich, the camp host, was very welcoming, responsive, and clearly takes care of the place. We will be back!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
