The camp hosts were very helpful when I had a question and seemed to really enjoy their role as hosts!
The camp was beautiful and peaceful as well as very well maintained!

Please was seriously paradise. We went in early May 2023, driving in from the east side, I thought we were going to be cold with snow, but it turned out to be awesome. We reserved #57 and it was a great spot for our Sprinter Van 170". Out side was steps from the river and had two tables. Beautiful campground and well maintained. There were a lot of open spots the whole time we were there so I'm sure FCFS would have been fine as well.

Beautiful campground right on the river, no road at all. Good amount of space and privacy between sites and close to really wonderful hiking opportunities. We will definitely back!

Great hosts, very clean facilities. The campsites are well cleaned and groomed between campers. And of course the McKenzie is beautiful.

Water is too cold and current too strong to swim anywhere nearby but the campsite is perfectly located to go to the hot springs and hike to Blue Pool. Campsites are private, no showers but there are bathrooms and water spickets alongside the roads within the campground. Some spaces parking areas look tricky if you have a trailer and most barely fit a single vehicle and ~two tents.

This was an amazing campground to stay at for a long weekend. The sites are pretty spread out from one another and offer a good amount of privacy for each group. There are many accessible bathroom that are always clean throughout the campground. The river is an amazing asset to this campground with both its beauty and sound. The camp hosts were exceptional at this site. They always offered support and asked how things were going for our party. They where very knowledgeable and provided useful information for any day trips we had planned. One day my group and I went to the Terwilliger Hot Springs. There was a rock slide that closed the main access road and it required taking some back roads around the cougar reservoir. It was a little bumpy and I was glad to have four wheel drive to get through it. All the adventure was worth it as the hot springs had 3 pools that were luxurious to take a long soak. There is a nice cool stream that runs next to it to splash yourself if you get too warm. Another day we went up to clear lake and the water is so blue, clear, and pristine. It was a little bit busy on memorial weekend but they also offer kayak and row boat rentals (17-25$ for a half day). This was a blast to get out on the water and it was so beautiful with lots of shade and sun options. Paradise has some free WiFi accessible just 4 miles down the road at McKenzie if you need a quick map or need to make some calls to plan a rafting trip. There is also a great little cafe and burger joint if you want a break from cooking. There are many general stores close by that help provide access for anything you are missing. If you are coming from Springfield on 126, there are some close options to purchase gas for cars as needed. I look forward to coming back and visiting and this was a great campground for a long weekend!
