Really enjoyed this nice, quiet campground. We stayed a site 47 and were by the river but didn't really have river access. We were also near a bathroom but it was a bathroom with only vault toilets. The flush toilet bathroom was on the other loop. Would definitely consider camping here again!

Such beautiful sites, especially the ones by the River. Love the access to the McKenzie River Trail.

Paradise never fails to be outstanding. For this visit the weather was perfect, the smoke was gone, and the frantic "summer" rush was over. The grounds and sites were in excellent condition. . .and of course, the river was "delicious".

The hosts did a great job of preping the campsite for our arrival and were very hospitable.

Awesome as always! Wish the reservation system was better as there were many unused riverfront spots supposedly reserved for people who didn’t show up but we had an amazing time despite the heat!!!

Paradise is a beautiful campground with trees all around. Even if you can't get a riverfront site, you have the forest experience. We like that you can access the Deschutes River trail directly from the campground for great hiking. There are two restrooms with flush toilets on the entrance road portion of the campground, with the other restrooms being pit toilets that are well maintained.

We would give it a 5 stars, had not evacuated on level 3 GO! Very high winds, trees falling down, limbs raining down on us and on our RV! We left our out side camping gear ! and Exit was blocked, had to back up quite a bit, had to go out entrance way, very very scary night!
Good to be alive,
I’ll give it a 5 stars for being able to go back following week and get back all our gear!!
Thank you.

Lovely old growth campground--a favorite place to camp during the summer months.
