Love this area especially while the aspens are turning. Its not far drive from Denver and once your there youre 10-min from Outer Range. Our spot was perfect, by the water, and most folks were pretty quiet. Bathroom so clean

We love staying at this campground. There are so many things to do close by and the fall colors were just starting and they were gorgeous.

Nice campground. Toilets very clean and well stocked. Lake Dillon reservoir was at low levels at this time but was able to access for fishing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in site E-77

Beautiful Campground! BEWARE spot E57 is Not 40 feet. It is 29 feet from curb to road and very narrow with a deep drop off.Very difficult to get our 29 foot 5th wheel to fit but it left no room for our truck.

Very pleasant spot at 76 E loop. The water is so low right now that I could walk around a couple of the "ponds" and took lovely pictures of Great Blue Herons and Canada Geese. The cars seems quite close together but once you were at the picnic table, it was very private.Bathroom was close and spotless!

Loved to see the trees growing. We had complete privacy at our site.

This was a great location for mountain views, hiking, biking. 2 things that were odd. Loop A has no bathroom at all and loop B has 2. When we arrived the host told us we could only fill our water tank with a hose, even though this was not posted on the water pump or on the website. One host said it was because of the draught and the other said it was because of back pressure from a hose. All spots in C had water hookups, so this was confusing. We really enjoyed our site and being right in the mountains. The bike trail is great, but use caution on the weekends as the traffic on it really picks up and some are going quite fast.

Great site, fairly level. Very private. A little bit of road noise, but overall a pretty great experience. Would likely stay again.

We have been camping at Heaton Bay for many years but this year we found water was not available to fill our RV and there was no info posted to let us know where to fill.

Absolutely loved every single minute here. Planning on coming back. Campground was clean and well maintained. Wish the fire ban wasn't in place, but that's beyond their power. This is the place to stay!

Short, but good stay. Easy to find and clean restrooms. Did not have a change to spend any time at the dam area but looked pretty as we left the next morning.

One of our favorite campgrounds in spite of road noise from I-70 (which won't bother you if you know to expect it). Sites are well-spaced and private, some with excellent water access. The access to the Summit County rec path cannot be beat and is largely why we keep coming back. We don't use the bathrooms, so I can't speak to that.

We love camping here! The bathrooms and overall sites are kept very clean. Wish it was easier to get a camping spot though!

Well maintained campground and toilets. Enjoyed our site and it was close enough to the lake (even though it was low) to carry our kayak down to launch. I would like to see the water spigot in the water lane reopened to allow one to fill our tank rather than having to carry 6 gallon containers.

Great campground with lots to do in the area!

Site 75 is a beautiful site. Usually, you can paddle right from the lakefront out to the big lake, but since the lake level was so low, it was only a pond, making it impossible to reach the lake. We saw eagles and ospreys. Lovely campground with great views.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
