Spacious, beautiful area, popular for bugs. Not the most private

Very clean, quiet and centrally located to all major sites within North Cascades NP.

One of the nicest campgrounds our family had camped at! The sites are wonderful and not far from the river, just a couple of steps. The bathrooms were cleaner than most public restrooms. And great walking trails! The only thing is it would have been great to have site maps posted somewhere.

This is an amazing campground! It is so clean and well kept, the bathrooms are top notch, and there are great trails straight from the campground. Kudos to the employees there doing such a great job! We had a lovely time with our young kids and will be back.

Great site, clean bathrooms, great trails nearby. Very close to the river. Good spot for car camping-flat drive in.

We were very satisfied with our spot and surprised to find out it was right on the beach and so could watch the sunset from our camp site. Central to Olympic NP sites on the Pacific coast.

Nice sites

A great campground situated in a nice quiet area. There is a loud alarm that goes off occasionally for the dam but wasn't intrusive for our trip.

Loved the campground, but the space was too small for 2 tents. We fit one 4 person tent perfectly, but for 2nd tent we had to make space by moving out table to the parking lot. Since this is 8 people site I would think that there would be enough space for 2 4 person tents.

We stayed at loop A and it was muddy with water running though our space. We also did not have a picnic table

The campsites are very well kept and easy to navigate, there are great walking trails around all the campsites and the amenities are great. We stayed here prior to the visitor's center opening for the season, so I wish I could tell you more about that. the visitors center looks great for helping with the things do do and see in North Cascades park. We will definitely be back at some point.

Wonderful campground. We have a 38 foot 5th wheel and site 38 worked out great for us. It is a pull-through and we had enough room. Had the entire loop to ourselves for most of our stay. An extra bonus was there was a large open area in the trees so we were able to charge with our solar panels. The only negative things I would say is that the entry door is on the opposite side of the "camping" area and we had to back out of the spot due to two large trees. It was impossible to pull forward.

Beautiful location, despite recent fire damage. Bathroom was infested with an insect hatch and not useable. Maps of area's hiking trails were not distinct and signage for the trails lacked. Sites were will maintained and quiet.

Great location, close to Diablo Lake, sites well situated in the woods which was great since temps were in the 90s. Nice trails from the campground!

This was a very clean campground and it was close to the North Cascade Visitor Center, Skagit River and within biking distance of the General Store, the dump station was a bonus!

After Labor Day weekend things calmed down a lot. Smaller crowds, centrally located in the cascades and super campground. Good Verizon service.

Location is great and overall quiet. Loved the campgrounds and sites. Dump station and water fill nearby. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms. The trail pit toilets were cleaner than these. The amount of bugs and flies were unreal. Must have been 1000+ after dark.

123 place with direct access to the river. Far from neighbors. Big trees with shed

Campground was nice, clean and easily drive-able. Easy access to the North Cascades and the views within it. A nice loop walk around the Skagit River and a creek nearby as well as Ladder Falls.

Nice quiet camping close to North Cascades NP Visitor Center. Would stay there again.

Beautiful walk-in campsite! Easy to jump on the trail to the Skagit River as well. Bathrooms had flush toilets and running water in the sink (however, the outlets did not work for charging things). Can walk to visitor center as well.

Nice spot! Perfect driveway to back into with a picnic table at the end of it. Would recommend!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
