We enjoyed our time at the group campground. When staying here people should know that a loud ALARM goes off in the evenings when they release water out of the dam. We had no idea what it was at first and it really freaked us out.

We had an amazing time at the park, very helpful rangers, we locked car with keys inside the car and park employees where very helpful in solving the problem.

The information on the booking website is incorrect. I booked campsites based on the information given to me on the booking website (recreation.gov) as I have never been to this campground before. The for each of the three campsites I booked, the number on the website said it could fit three tents, up to 8 occupants, and 2 cars. When I arrived at the campsite, this was not the case. All campsites only had room for 1 tent on a tent pad, and did not have enough room for either 1) multiple tents on a tentpad or 2) I don't understand how/where 8 guests could sleep on each site. The result of this was a very claustrophobic tent/sleeping arrangement, with some tents set up in driveways to make room. This is definitely a less-than-ideal experience. I highly recommend calling the ranger to confirm what the campsites look like, and would default to 1 tent/2 sleepers per campsite.
