Spring Canyon Campground in Grant County is located 1 hr 34 min west of Spokane, WA with an elevation of 1,406 feet. There are a total of 78 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 74 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $23.00 per night. Some amenities include dump station, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Water has been turned off for the season. There are CXT toilets available for your use. Please plan accordingly.
Winter operations are in effect at Lake Roosevelt's campgrounds. Spring Canyon campground remains open but with limited access. The upper loop is closed. Spring Canyon boat launch and lower campground loop road (but not individual campsites) will be plowed. Water has been turned off, so campers are advised to provide their own potable water. A vault toilet on a limited cleaning schedule is available. Camping in this campground remains reservation only through Recreation.gov and no first come, first served.

There is a Dump/Fill Station one-time fee of $10 for campers with a reservation or $5 with Senior/Access pass. This is intended for visitors recreating in established campgrounds within the boundaries of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and not for residential use. No water, which was expected, no toilet paper, which was not expected. Too expensive for just a parking place. Nice landscaping.

We stayed very early in the Fall. The campground was peaceful, uncrowded, and mostly quiet. The setting is fabulous--charming camp area, no huge rigs, no hook-ups so that eliminates many would-be large RV's. The views are awesome and the beach area wonderful.

Great location near the lake. The campground has flush toilets and running water. The RV dump costs here, which we feel should be included if we paid for a campsite. Otherwise the site was very nice.

Beautiful campground. I think some of the sites may be a bit too close to each other in the busy season but we had plenty of space in mid-September. The beach & boat launch are very nice. We absolutely enjoyed our stay & will be back.

My family's experience at this campground was very frustrating. When we arrived people were in our spot and there was no camp host for us to work with. We went to dinner and came back at about 9:00 and the people were not back so we used a different spot. Both nights we stayed the people were INCREDIBLY loud, breaking the only ten people per site and not abiding by posted signs about where tents should not be. We asked neighbors to be quiet and it was not successful. There was no camp host around and no rangers addressed any of the noise issues well past midnight.I know the park cannot control who camps there, but there needs to be some assistance for ridiculously large groups and noise when spots are this close together with no tree barrier.Its really unfortunate because the beach is great, but this is one of the worst camping experiences I have ever had.

The campground and facilities were very clean. The attendant was super-helpful and moved us to a better, quieter site that wasn't booked that night. I thought the covered parking areas were a great idea, and since we were on motorcycles, having a roofed parking area to pack up in, out of the rain, was much appreciated.

I have been camping at Spring Canyon for many many years now always on the upper loop which is great.This time, however I was on the lower loop and the site was described as a pull through for a 25 foot travel trailer and a vehicle What a joke that is not only did my travel trailer not fit, but there was no place for me to park my truck.False advertising at best not only could I not fit my vehicle there or my travel trailer once I did manage to get it into the spot its so unlevel that nothing I did would make my travel trailer level in any way shape or form I do not recommend lower loop And I would suggest to anybody looking to be on the lower loop drive to the campsite first and see the site.

Spring Canyon is in a grand setting with large, gorgeous views. The campground is up on the hillside and, of course, the Columbia, where we spent most of our time, playing in the River, is below. This meant a lot of climbing up and down.

Sites are very close together and when we were there mostly tenters that makes it hard for small RVs. There were too many tents and tarps on each site with many people- more than 8 at each location. Very loud after 10PM. We left after one night. Could not stand the noise.

This campground is a short walk from Lake Roosevelt, set on a hillside with mostly gravel sites and a few trees for shade. The campsites themselves are quite small and very close (directly contiguous with) other campsites, so be prepared for being close to your neighbors! The campground was also fairly loud and busy, with lots of RVs, generators, kids and general hubbub.

The Campground Host was in camp, but needed to be out circulating in the campground. They were never seen outside their camper. There were people riding ATVs on the roads that were causing a safety hazard and many tents on one site.

Campgrounds in upper area are very small. The sprinklers didnt turn on Friday night but on Saturday we got soaked while sitting and talking in the grass.

Spring Canyon is a lovely area with an outstanding beach. The campground itself was quite crowded, with campgrounds really packed in very close to each other; it almost felt like we were camping on top of our neighbors. Additionally, only a few of the campgrounds seemed to have flat areas for tents. We ended up pitching out tent on the gravel drive, as did many of the other campers there, as that was the only flat spot at the campground. There were water spigots around, but no one knew if the water was potable and the campground host was nowhere to be found to answer questions or address concerns. The only sure potable water was at an RV pump station that was pay per use. While I would certainly recommend visiting Spring Canyon, the camping experience was not what I hoped it would be. It was a very close-quarters camping experience and we should've brought our own water. That said, we still enjoyed our stay and loved recreating at the Spring Canyon beach.

We had a 29ft trailer and a full size pick up. It was difficult to get our trailer into the space. Even tho it said it could accommodate 30ft

Really nice place to stay. The canopys in the upper campground were unusual but provide cover from the summer sun. Not so good for solar panels but provided great shade. Watch your overhead clearance. Excellent location for visit to Grand Coulee Dam.
