Was camped here Feb 3-6 to do some fishing. The weather was chilly, lows just above freezing. I had heat so I wasn't too worried. The pit toilet near my camp site was very clean and well stocked with TP. The boat launch is excellent and appeared to show signs of being sanded previously when it was below freezing. I'll be back for sure!

We stayed very early in the Fall. The campground was peaceful, uncrowded, and mostly quiet. The setting is fabulous--charming camp area, no huge rigs, no hook-ups so that eliminates many would-be large RV's. The views are awesome and the beach area wonderful.

The view was nice, The campground appropriately maintained. It would be nice if the restrooms were open in mid April.We have a 28' trailer. Recreation.Gov showed sites for a 28' trailer then when I tried to reserve the site it showed a 25' limit. I did find a site where the trailer and the truck in front fit.

Very clean and well-maintained park. Saw mule deer every day and a flock of wild turkeys just wandering through the campground. Many sites will accommodate bigger rigs than site says. We are a 38' 5th wheel and easily fit on our site with plenty of parking room for the truck. Plus, we had a clear view of Lake Roosevelt. Do your research. Definitely go over to the dam for the nightly laser show. Well worth the time and cool to see.

Beautiful campsite we stumbled on on our spontaneous roadtrip. Amazing views of grand coulee dam with a beautiful sunset. The outhouse was rather dirty but the bathroom with with flushing toilets was very clean.

We have camped here on and off since the late 1990's. I still love it -but it has changed a lot. Here are some of the things I used to enjoy and appreciate that are no longer there:1. Junior Ranger program - not any more2. Rangers evident - they used to patrol every day which gave me a greater sense of safety when I was on my own. Not any more3. Camp host used to stop by and say hello - not any more4. Beach store used to be open for ice creams, drinks etc - not any more5. Beach used to be "cleaned" of trash, lost property etc - not any more6. Used to be (free) kayak trip to a nearby lake - not any moreIt;s still got what nature provided - beauty. But it certainly isn't what it used to be.

Ok campground, not well thought out. Appears as if they changed a number of the sights from tent only to rv or tent. Many have the fire rings on the back side of the camper.

We had unusually mild weather. There were very few campers.It's a lovely setting, sites nicely spaced with well-placed trees.We were delighted that the campground was still open.
