Anderson Cove Campground is located in the Ogden Ranger District, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (just 20 min east of Ogden, UT) with an elevation of 4,935 feet. There are a total of 117 campsites including 19 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of April to mid September. 88 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 120 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $24.15 to $295.12. Some amenities include dump station, general store, boat ramp, swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

THE BATHROOMS ARE WRETCHED. That is the only reason, well that and the lack of decent grassy area, but mostly the bathrooms, that makes it not 5 stars. I love the shade, the beach, the size of the camp spots.

So many wasps at our campsite. There's a hive in the ground. We were staking our tent and the bees attacked because we were getting too close to the hive. We also think there was a hive in the branches over the picnic table. We switched to eating in camp chair away from the picnic table and experienced much less wasps. We expect to see bugs when camping, but had we known about the hive(s) of wasps we wouldn't have reserved this specific camp ground. Our fire pit seemed to be missing parts that other sites had. Such as the grill attachment and the outer cement barrier. Each of the camp grounds were very close together. Would've loved more separation from my neighbors. Probably if we would've gone on weekdays we wouldn't have felt it as much.We did enjoy it was close to water. We did enjoy being semi close to town.

Good camp ground. Nice clean pads and fire pits, and obviously there for the lake. Pretty basic and you dont get much more than a camp site but its cheap.

Extremely hot in the summer. If you love water, the beach is excellent and boating is great. The beach is an absolute necessity from mid-day to the evening. Access to MTB trails are possible, but suggest the Art Nord Trailhead to avoid traffic on the main road.

We had a great experience at the campsite. We have been renting this site for 10 years and we used to get hasseled about every little thing but the new managers are GREAT!

We were impressed with the size of the yurt. And loved that we were close to the beach and could swim on one side and fish on the other side of the cove.The staff were fun to chat with. And were pleased the firewood on-site was cheaper than the grocery store in Eden. Highly recommend.

Online says $10/day per extra vehicle. They told us it was $15 and charged us $15/day per extra vehicle. Loop C camp host was rude. Our truck tires on one side was on the grass it was actually dirt. However kid red jeep was parked fully in the grass area and he had plenty of room to park in his driveway.

Restroom very odorous. Why cant they put something to smell better?Other camping places use some type of fragance..The workers there did not stop people from having music loud after 10 pm. It was close to 1:00 am when I had to do it my self. 2 tents from diferents spots where so loud.Not planning on coming back.

I had the BEST TIME!!! The yurt was clean and comfy. I took my daughter for our first time camping and we started a fire and went by the water. It was a blast! Check in/out was easy and quick. It was a wonderful experience

This campground seem to be pretty much unregulated. Some sites had 6-8 cars parked at them at a time. Many were over the limit for occupancy. The vault toilets were among the worst Ive ever experienced. Highway noise is really bad late into the night..

Camp host are great, very professional and courteous. Each site is cleaned and taken care of promptly after each visit, they update reservation cards at each site daily, very well ran campground.

The bathrooms might have been the worst smelling I've experienced at a campground that doesn't have plumbing. Neighbors next to our campground took that site from another camper, and had their music up well passed curfew. Hosts didn't really enforce anything on them at all. Dog rule was not enforced either. The 1 vehicle per campsite was not enforced. I purchased 2 camp sites specifically because I assumed the 1 vehicle per campsite rule was going to be enforced. Since it wasn't, I feel like I was cheated out of my money since I bought a second site. Only nice things are the sites themselves. Plenty of good grass and shade to set up a comfortable spot for a tent.

Well kept campground, close to the road and the lake. Theres little firewood but a store at entrance to but what you need. Access to the beach is at the other side of the lake.
