This campground was great, the only thing I 'hated' was the lack of shade in our site - BUT that's not their issue. The hosts were fantastic and let us borrow there percolator after we had forgtten ours. Kelly and Duncan were great. Quiet spot close to the lake, zero cell service which was a plus.

The site has gone downhill, I've been coming here for years, my site had no benches at the picnic table, the fireplace was filled with tree roots around it, the bathrooms used to be painted all the time & now are not taken care of. The trash cans were so full you couldn't add trash, the road had several spots that had road base instead of being paved, not happy with the way these sites have been taken care of.

Being close to the lake was the best part.

Beautiful campsite! Lots of wild flowers. The kids had a great time. The bathrooms were I bit smelly though.

Beautiful place

Very beautiful campsite! There is a small meadow next door that is full of wildflowers in June. We love that Lost Creek is so close to the lake. Be aware, this campsite requires crossing a small creek to get from the car to the site, which is challenging with small children, heavy coolers, etc.

Lots of noise from RV annoying as a tent camper
@CarmenB246683B · Camped on Jun 20, 2025 at Campsite #17
The sites were well maintained and nicely spaced, you didnt feel too close to your neighbors. The camp hosts were exceptional! They cleaned the restrooms every morning and strictly enforced quiet hours and having folks turn off generators.

Honestly besides the insane mosquitos attacking nonstop, this spot was perfect. #8 is private and backs up nicely to a little trail to the lake, and had a lovely fire pit with logs to sit on. The pull through made parking my trailer easy! Camp host was really nice and the toilets were clean.

Nice place to camp. Great for young kids
@CoryC90013E97B · Camped on Jun 15, 2025 at Campsite #26
There was no water and also no path to the fire pit and table from the trailer spot so we had to walk through the marsh. Other than that it was great.

Lost Creek (or as the signs now say Lost Lake) is a wonderful campground, and one of the few in the High Uintas with potable water (a huge plus). The hosts this summer are really attentive, friendly, and thorough.We stayed in site 25. Its a bit of a strange site because of how close it is to the site next to it. Ideally these two sites would be reserved together. Thats what I would aim for in the future anyway.

FYI campsite is not next to the parking slab at all. It was a small hike down a hill and over a stream to the site. Would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However, if you don't mind the short hike to transport your items and get to/from the site, it is a wonderful site. Plenty of trees to hang hammocks and felt like you had decent privacy for a campground site.

Campground is very nice. Lots of pines. Wish that water faucets were close to sites as there is only one at the camp entry. Our site 27 was a pull thru that was hard to pull my 28 foot trailer into. Sites 27, 26 & 25 are rather close together - more spacing would be nice.

Had a great time! Very few people in the campground. Stayed for three days and the fishing was great.

The campground was amazing! It was very clean. Camp hosts were very friendly. Facilities were available and clean. The Yurt tent was bigger than expected and was comfortable and clean. The campground is right on the lake and had easy access for fishing or kayaking. The locations is great also because there are a number of different places to visit and see within a short dive.

I loved the easy reservation process and the email reminders are great. It was super easy to drive right up to our site and see our name on the reserved card. Our campsite was clean and spacious. Although there are a lot of sites we didn't feel crowded at all and had enough privacy to our liking. One surprise was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed at a campsite. This was a big plus as we had two females in our group and clean bathrooms are much more appreciated by them. I complimented the host on the bathrooms when we left and he said: "We clean them twice a day!" I can't overstate how nice this was. The only downside was the overflowing dumpster, which happened to be right near our site. I know this is not the fault of the host, but the fault of the irresponsible campers who keep piling on after the dumpster is full. We packed our trash out so as not to add to the mess. I love the proximity to three lakes with great fishing. Fishing at lost creek never disappoints. And it's amazing to see the bald eagles fishing as well. We will be back every year.

Really nice location, good campsite and views. Quiet at night. Great strolling areas and places for small ones to play! The only thing missing was TP in one of the pit toilets and we are also always hoping for better gray water management systems for tent campers who want to responsibly dispose of dishwater. Otherwise, we had a fabulous time and will be back!

Such a beautiful spot with wildflowers blooming everywhere. A great place for paddleboarding, canoeing, and fishing. We took hikes around the nearby Lilly and Teapot Lakes. We brought our camper and our kids and their families stayed in the Yurts which worked very well for them since they don't own a lot of camping gear. I wish that there were more Yurt sites in the Uintahs!

Too busy for my taste, with the road right there it wasn't as secluded as I had hoped.

Wow! This is definitely one of our new favorite campsites! It is for tents only and you have to hop over a small stream on your walk from the car - but nothing could compare to sleeping with the sounds of several nearby babbling brooks! Plenty of shade, good firepit/picnic table set up, flat area for tents, and clean pit toilets. I will say we LOVED the privacy of this site - it didn't feel like you would crowded in with lots of neighbors but we also noticed when we left that many sites were labeled as "closed". I'm guessing its because we camped here the first weekend of the season and some sites may have had too much water or mud.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
