Very nice place but they need to fix the running water situation. Thats part of what you pay for so they should fix it or lower the price.

Clean, quiet, fresh air, beautiful trees, lots of deer, chipmunks and squirrels. Had a great time for five days! Will definitely be back. Friendly staff too!

Clean. No traffic road noise and plenty of hiking and fishing right from the campground.

Very primitive campground. Small sites. Most sites only accommodate one tent. And the driveway length INCLUDES your tow vehicle. No amenities. They have clean pit toilets. Hosts great. CG is wonderful. Dont go expecting a resort. This is a beautiful primitive campground.

Perfect for tent camping. Site 31 has a fire pit and picnic table. Host was attentive and kind. Firewood can be purchased for $9 via cash or check. This spot is further away from the lake, but ultimately paid off as it was also more secluded from noise and nighttime activity. Facilities are also well-maintained with trash disposals within easy walking distance throughout the campgrounds. Trial Lake is very popular among families, so expect lots of children, dogs, paddle boarders, fishermen, etc.For birders interested in the site, I had great views of the following species sitting still for 45 minutes at the picnic table: American Three-toed Woodpecker, Clark's Nutcracker, Northern Flicker, Dark-eyed Junco, White-crowned Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow, American Robin. Other birds of interest heard from this site: Red-naped Sapsucker, Brown Creeper, and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.We will definitely be back!

Great campgound! Quiet neighbors, helpful camp host, beautiful setting, relatively clean toilets. This was our second time at this campsite and we will be returning often.

Amazing Campground in a gorgeous area. No cell service (which I love) and an easy walk to the lake. Only complaint is that our sites were advertised that they could fit a trailer (19 and 20). While we did get the trailer in, these two sites (along with several others) aren't angled the right way for you to be able to back in if you go around the loop the wrong way. I ended up backing up my trailer the 175 yards of the road to site #20, which was an adventure.Cool place, but several sites should be advertised as trailer friendly if you can't back in to them if you go around the loop the right way.

Campsite 43 said it fould fit a 30 foot trailer...It did, but it waas so so so tight getting it in and even out! Maybe you could consider taking out that first tree next to the parking pad.Other than that, the camp host was very friendly and accomodating - she gets 5+ stars!!

Beautiful quiet campground. The eagle watching and fishing is fabulous. Camground hosts were kind and helpful. Campsites have a lot of space and dont feel cramped.

This is my first time camping in the Uinta mountains. I absolutely loved the scenery and the camping space. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I would think of is that on site 29 at trial lake, you cant back your trailer in as it faces toward the oncoming lane. I had to take my trailer off and push it into the space due to not enough room. Overall, though it is amazing.

Site 47 was amazing. On the edge of the campground so extra quite and secluded. Parking is a double wide and extra deep so more than enough space for two vehicles and then some. Extra large picnic table too! Plenty of space to pitch tents. Would reccommend this site if you have 2 families sharing the campsite. We had a great time.

Amazing spot. Great location. The camp host was really attentive and kept it comfortable and clean. She made sure our time was great. A BIG THANKS to her and her family helpers.

The campsite was very rocky and you needed adequate light to make sure you didnt fall.

Its a pretty nice campground overall. The lake is really nice. It is pretty difficult to shore fish from anywhere other the dam area. Theres a lot of driftwood, dead trees, rocks and shallow spots so its easy to snag and the is fishing tackle trash all over because of this. The campground has a lot of nice spots, some better than others. The spot we chose was a little close to our neighbors and not ideal when looking to get away from people. Most of the spots here will not accommodate larger trailers easily. Small, tent trailers or tent camping is ideal for most of the spots I saw. There are some spots that will accommodate some medium sized RV trailers. Overall the trip didnt feel terribly crowded, but it definitely feels like a bit of a yuppy tourist trap if youre really wanting to get away from people. Peak season the weather is perfect and its great to get out of the heat. The lake is excellent for paddle boarding and there are some fun little bays to navigate and explore

I loved the campground at Trial Lake, a few more bathrooms would be nice and l wasnt sure where my lot was, it was hard to see when we arrived and were confused where to turn on the roads.

A beautiful campground that is well maintained. There is no drinking water available. You must bring your own. The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of toilet paper, but it was a busy week and the bathrooms smelled like you would expect vault toilets to smell with a lot of people using them. Our campsite had plenty of shade. Most campsites around the perimeter of the campground had shade, while those in the center didn't seem to have much shade. We enjoyed being farther from the lake where it is a bit quieter and lots of trees for shade. We recommend hiking from the nearby Chrystal Lake Trail Head to Long Lake. A moderate 2 mile hike. There are many lakes to hike to in that area so you can choose a longer or shorter route. Well marked trail. Beautiful scenery. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back some time.

Great location although the sites and service facilities could do with an upgrade.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
